I also have the white tuttminx and I have it pretty easy to turn each of the sides...as long as it is absolutely perfectly aligned. Honestly, I think this is a terrible puzzle, I am so disappointed with it. The jumbling nonsense is awful, I tried solving it but it just becomes a mess. I always end up playing with my other puzzles. How often do you actually solve this puzzle? I am just wondering because I haven't seen anybody else try to solve this mess of a puzzle.
@Xathos15 For me, I think this puzzle is pretty enjoyable. I do understand why you don't like it because of the fudging aspect of the puzzle but, at least on mine, it becomes very obviously when I'm trying to fudge the puzzle. I have yet to finish the puzzle but I am working on the last layer. My total time solving/looking for colors on the puzzle is 2:34 (been timing it). Its not something that I would solve on a weekly basis but would solve it *relatively* frequently (once every couple weeks)
@Manologft Not really. If you lube and tension the puzzle, you can keep the puzzle fairly tight and still be able to have it turn well (i.e. finger-trickable). To a regular person, they might not notice it if they are turning it at random. For me, its very obvious when you are fudging the puzzle because you will feel resistance in the turn and you will see pieces start to buldge.
