the thing that most disappointed me about this movie is the way they portrayed the Silver Surfer's powers, it didn't come from his surf board his power come from within the board was just an extesion of the Surfer's powers, if you check the Marvel Comics out I use to read them all as a child up to the age of 28 then you will know Hollywood had it all wrong

This is a superhero movie that should be remade.

The keep doing Batman and Superman and Spiderman, each of which have been adapted justifiably for the cinema at some point or another.

Fantastic Four had a few good things going for it, but it just didn't hit all that hard. I think I heard plans a while back of a reboot, but to no avail...this could be a damn good movie, with damn good characters and a damn good plot. They just need to do it right.

proof we have reached a plateau or static point in film making, this film was made nearly 4 years ago, yet the cgi and the epic theme music etc, looks thoroughly up to date. Now compare this trailer, with something like the green lantern. Hell we dont even need to look at such at recent example, lets go waay back to matrix reloaded which had pretty much better effects than anything out there, even still today. proof we are not going to see anything evolutionary in cinema for a long time.

I'm tired of stupid comic book movies. Why doesn't Marvel sit down, take their time and compose an epic that would be talked about for generations (a la Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc). Instead they substitute quality for something jam packed with special effects, but people forget a year or two after it's released and comicbook readers are left feeling disgusted that their heroes were depicted on screen in such a corny way.

I read somewhere that the reason for that is they plan on making a movie that will feature him in a bigger role (More screen time) Maybe a Silver Surfer movie.
