It would be nice to see her restored with her husband. As someone who has been abused before, I am certainly not a proponent of abusive behavior. I find it's funny how people use the Bible to make themsleves wealthy and never speeks of the history of the Holy book. I told someone before Juanita Bynum married Bishop Thomas Weeks that he was NOT her husband. This person became so angry with me that we were NO LONGER roomates. I look at them on TBN and I told her, "That man is NOT her husband, he is a ABUSIVE". I wonder what shes thinking now. I'll tell you. I tried to save her as a friend on Facebook after 10yrs or more and she won't accept my friendship request. I forgive her from rejecting me as her roomate, but let go it and move on sis.

Let God be the Final Judge of them concerning their divorce. None of us really know what was happening in their relationship. Divorce is not God's way but God would not approve of someone abusing, taking advantage and harming us one of His children either. I'm glad God is a forgiver. Too many ppl on here seem like they put too much of their faith and hopes in others instead of God. It would be nice to see her restored with her husband. As someone who has been abused before, I am certainly not a proponent of abusive behavior. But it seems this was an isolated incident, the devil got in the middle of it. Satan came to destroy. Mission Accomplished: He destroyed their marriage. This is very sad. I wish they had gone for counseling and healing and deliverance. Maybe it could have worked. GOD must heal people in the Church and in ministry or they will just affect the sheep who are counting on them. What I'm learning is to trust in GOD, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost for humans can sin, fall and make mistakes. God have mercy on all of us and deliver people from abuse in Jesus' Name!!

Jesus said God only permitted divorce because of the hardness of their hearts. Because of unforgiveness and bitterness. If there is abuse she has the right to leave but I dont believe you have the right to remarry. If he repents (forsakes the abusing ways), then they should reconcile or else remain single and just serve God. But I know how that must be hard ot both of them.

I simply gave a basic explanation of what a contract is and a general rule for anyone getting married who wants to use religion or God to justify their reasons for entering a marriage. Some people God used in biblical days did wrong but God still used them for HIS purpose and Glory. I told someone before Juanita Bynum married Bishop Thomas Weeks that he was NOT her husband. This person became so angry with me that we were NO LONGER roomates. @takinbylove That is true but this is what God states: Malachi 2:16 -16 "I hate divorce," says the LORD God of Israel, "and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment," says the LORD Almighty.So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith. People, especially a person(s) who teach about God should know that you have to have counseling to repair relationships and keep them together, otherwise how could they do their profession. It would be hypocrisy.

I do agree and Im going to leave with this,I went to church wednesday and a minister had told me a story regarding abuse in her marriage but she wont leave when she said her vows she ment them through sickness and in health till death do them part so what i'm saying yes the bible states many things but it all depends on how the person takes it and what it means to them because we can sit and debate all day about it but we would never come to a close because of differences

@takinbylove More teaching regarding behavior control and for a man NEVER to abuse a woman should be taught. Many men abuse woman and they should never do that. Malachi 2:16 states God hates divorce but also hates a man who cloaks him self with injustice (violence). They will answer for it for treating a person in an abusive manner. God gave us a brain and a mind and a mouth to communicate and resolve our problems peacefully. If you can not do that what can you be trusted with?

@Skyheartstar777 Understand. I sat and I thought about this whole situation and realized that we are only outsiders lookiing into someone else personal life.. We don't know what was going on and so in that case we have no opinion. Yes the bible does say those things but the meaning goes so much deeper than just the scripture it self. In saying, Juanita Bynums walk with God is personal and we don't know what God was telling her to do during the times of her marriage!

@takinbylove Yes you are right. We are so strongly told not to judge and that is why. God will deal with each one of us accordingly. It is a difficult world to live in. It is very difficult because we are forced to go by the ways of the world, which are not God's ways.

God Bless you for posting this! I love it and you are so right we are suppose to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ! But we ridicule them, people forget they are still human and have the potential to err. But we knocked them down and say all manner of them against them! Im pretty sure if God was to look in our closets that he could find things about Us that would make him want to GIVE UP ON US! But he loves us so much that he gives us second chance through the blood of Jesus! PRAY

Remember not because they are in the lime light that means they are not faced with the very same things that we are faced with. God bless them all... Let God be the Final Judge of them concerning their divorce. None of us really know what was happening in their relationship. Divorce is not God's way but God would not approve of someone abusing, taking advantage and harming us one of His children either. I'm glad God is a forgiver. Too many ppl on here seem like they put too much of their faith and hopes in others instead of God. Make your own marriage a ministry and stop targeting this one to serve as an example for "all" marriages.

Do these so call man & woman of God read their bible. What did the Lord said about married couple in the book of 1 Corinthians 7: 10 - 12. Open your bible and read these scriptures for yourself, and maybe if you was considering a divorce with your husband or your wife the word of God will change your mind. These people are not preachers or man and woman of God, they're using God in order to gain possessions and everybody knows and see that. Open your eyes and seek the Lord other then prosperity.

@islandhi2u hello somebody people always can pull scripture for convience & or ignorance. yet they wont take the time to consider the facts of each individual. when I decided to leave my ex abusive husband the church pleaded for me to stay. Im like what?!!! I refuse to belive we serve a God that says stay in an abusive relationship all for the sake a marriage surley Jesus indured all the abuse for us .. after all God wants us to use wisdom people!

Hello Juanita, I do not live in United States but I want to let you know that your divorce is causing many homes to break up around the world. If a pastor and servant of the MOST HIGH GOD could divorce, who am I? Most young ladies are now looking for the slightest misunderstanding to request for a divorce. "Let your light so shine before men". Is this the light? I want to know if it is ok that I divorce too? Can I marry a better husband?

@sico2ng Get to know God for yourself. Don’t live according to our Pastors and leaders but according to God's word. We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. He without sin cast the first stone. That's why we have to cover each other in prayer, we never know when it's our time. I think that’s why God said touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm, because he knew the flesh would take over them sometimes, so he is saying to everyone else Touch not I am at work always.

Juanita Bynum hear this from MrPastor77 .... You are NOT suppose to divorce. Even if your husband hit you ... there is still FORGIVENESS. How many times you Juanita sinned against God?? He didn't say man I'm sick and tired of Juanita sinning against me let me exit her heart and divorce her. No he forgives.
