Caught this movie on TCM today. I'm a huge fan of Susan Hayward, and I'd never seen this before! Wonderful!!! Was surprised all vocals sung by Lee Bowman, are actually dubbed by a Hal Derwin. I especially liked the song, "Life Can Be Beautiful."
I tend towards blaming the husband cause I know how even today men are so into working and seem to could care less what goes on when they are at work. Money, money, money! Shame.
