This song causes me to weep every time I hear it, Coupled with the video it is heart breaking. Teresa Teng's lovely, wonderful voice lives on though through her many recordings and in the memories of those who saw her in person. Thanks to Youtube, Teresa Teng and her wonderful music will continue to win new fans and her legacy will continue to grow.

Phillip, thanks 4 sharing. This song was released a few years after her death. Though her family members found the recording among her belongings, it took them years to come to terms with their loss and get friends in the recording industry to work on the album. I had been waiting for any new recordings since her last major release in 1987. When news of her death on May 8, 1995 reached me, I was in despair. Imagine my joy to know from the papers that she had a new CD in the market in 2001!

Miss Teresa understood this, as evidenced in most of her beautiful songs. I hope to hear her make the courts of heaven ring some day in eternity. Dear Canaanoptical; I've only known about Teresa Teng less than a year, and I mourn her passing daily. When I listen to her music, watch her videos, my emotions are often flooded, as in some way, I sense her message, feel her deep sensitivity, heart felt expression, coupled with her truly matchless voice. When I heard interviews with her (subtitles in English for Chinese and Japanese interviews, and one English), my connection grew. I can only sense how you must feel, losing a lovely soulmate.

Dear Friend, Many thanks for this one. The sky is crying indeed, endless tears. As a 61 y/o Texas Caucasian cowboy, I discovered the Angelic Teresa Teng, through a Japanese friend in 2009. Never thought at my age a Taiwanese Chinese angel would touch the very core of my soul. Over the past year, I've searched endlessly on line to learn more about her, watch her videos, interviews, and translations in English. She was the greatest singer ever. I love everything about her. Dear Lpmgato1, thank you for sharing your thoughts. As someone who grew up listening to her voice on the radio everywhere I went and seeing her in newspapers, magazines and on TV, I feel I've known her personally. I never thought that when she passed on, I would mourn as I would someone who is a part of my life. Over the years, I've searched for and bought most of her recordings on CD and DVD which had only been on cassette and VHS then and which I could not afford as a student.

Recently Astrid's mom from UK visited her in Taipei. They went there too and got me a souvenir which arrived here in Malaysia by post taking me by surprise. I was very moved.

Thank you canaan for this nice presentation. My life has been richer for seeing her one time in Thailand in May of 1995. In some ways it seems like a hundred years ago and in others it seems like only yesterday. I am sure her tears are falling seeing all her fans remembering her 15 years later...

I've never met her before, but I have heard about her from friends who have met her. She came to our town when we were in school and all the boys went crazy over her. My brother went for her concert too and so did my neighbour, an aspiring singer who brought back for me an autographed photo which I still treasure up till today. I could not believe it. I grew up listening to her voice and seeing her on TV or pictures in the papers and magazines. She was an important part of my life.
