There are so many fangirls for Supernatural it makes it difficult to admit you like it, "what is that like that Twilight thing? Sad bastard."

What! No it's nothing like Twilight, something actually happens, the characters aren't blank robots cheaply thrown in to gain more teenage fangirls without a clue about decent script writing. Plus it's quite dark, with a rockin soundtrack and an Impala. It's so manly I don't even know where all these fangirls showed up from.

@severinssister It's not that I dislike the show being liked by girls, it's that it has fangirls, same problem as fanboys. Basically people who like it either far too much that it makes others look sad for liking it (Star Trek) or people who like it purely for some asinine reason.

Liking it for its screenwriting and music is a good thing, obsessing over the title characters ass and never shutting up about it makes us all look bad. If you get my meaning.

Don't worry about it if you like it for the content then why care what others think. I agree that fangirls/ fanboys are annoying as hell but don't let that get in your way of enjoying something. I enjoy a lot of science fiction tv shows and movies that I find other people enjoying for retarded reasons (including things along the lines of they think liking star trek makes them appear smarter {I curse the big bang theory for this}) who cares if you like it then ignore them.

@scaryninja1693 I fell in love with the show, then fell in love with Dean. It wasn't the other way around for me. The lore is fantastically researched, the storytelling wonderful. I laugh at least once an episode, no matter how dark it is (as I just did while watching "Two Minutes to Midnight," one of the darker episodes). The music is awesome. It's a rare treat of a show in a world of "Reality" shows!
