I have to disagree with this fella about the wages of RTE....when pat kenny was on the late late he was in one of the wealthest shows in the world. Advertising during the late late in 2009 cost €17,000 for each 30 second slot—this compares to €9,750 for the 2010 UEFA Champions League Final (sunday business post).....argue all you want about his wages, but that's paying his salary not the tax payers money. It's logicical business not bureaucracy.

If that guy has mental health problems then so have I, because I agree with every word he says. Kenny is an ellitist with a public platform he hasn't earned, paid a fortune by the taxpayer and we can't vote him out of office.

@DJSpinoza i know!! and i agree. the thing is that he has mental health problems indeed. the man is on medication and have been treated for some disorders. i know this because after the bus driver incident, the guards have been in touch with everyone involved and they told us that he was charged but not arrested because of his condition.

This guy was dead right in what he said,,kenny and his golden circle are to highly paid at rte,,its TAX PAYERS money that they get,,and how they can seem to think they are worth that kind of wage is beyond me.Pay them a fair wage for the job they do,,no more than 100,000 thousand euros at most,,but then again this is ireland led by Fianna fail gimps who make sure the rich get taken care of and we pay for it.

Pat Kenny can be replaced by 100 others we can see this when new channels such as TV3 or even TG4 gave new people a chance. There is no need to pay this guy 600k per year. Nobody needs that amount of money, he get's paid the salary of about 20 average people.

kenny is a rubbish host who was only hired because he was one of the first few to get all a's in his leaving cert so everyone thought he was great, he's a smart man but totally stupid when it comes to interviewing people etc. with his constant "thank you very much" whenever someone has a go with him instead of making any kind of argument or trying to do anything about it, he constantly makes fopas, mispronouncing names saying politicly incorrect things about handicapped people, blacks etc.
