I dont understand Telgu. But I have heard the songs of the legendry Ghantasala and must say he is the greatest. The Kishore Kumar of Telgu films.

A heart touching homage by one Telugu legend to another.. but two things make it worse for me:

A. I cannot understand half of what NTR garu says, many words sound beautiful but dont know what he means.. the language is just too difficult for me to follow (I'm not an NRI or something, just grew up in Hyd)

B. Then the sad realization that today's telugu movies are responsible for this kind of ruining old, pure telugu of NTR's times due to our HINDI obsession.

NTR bhavalanu ayina Bhasha , Bhasha loni bhavamu...rendu manasunu kadalimpa chesayi.... chala thanks 'nsajja'.I really hope this kind of language comes back in vogue.....slang dialects like hyd. hindi and telengana dialect are killing the soul of telugu.(I agree they are easier and and bring humor.But at what cost!.Hope people take me in right sense than bringing regionalism into the thought.
