@84ndman I live in Ohio and they have taken our factory jobs. They make $500.-$550. a wk. and pay no SS, state, federal or anything else. Their check stubs have only their name, no pin number or any other information on them. When they get paid the company they work for cashes their check. My daughter graduated with a degree in finance last year and looked for a job for months before taking a job with PF Chang's as a hostess. Most legal citizens will use these jobs as an interim until they find something else or as a second job to catch up on their bills but we need these jobs as a safety net. It is the lack of these jobs that many find themselves having to move back home.

Wait a minute, this illustrates two things:
1) All the radical far Reich Teanuts who say the "unemployed" are lazy and welfare queens are just simply proven wrong.
2) A master degree is so "desperate" that is willing to do the lowest possible job. Wow! That's the very best way of utilizing societies' skilled workers.
3) The Teanuts' final solution = drag as many middle class below the poverty line so they can be worked to death for peanuts.

Facts: I have called the IRS. I asked them, "Do most illegal aliens pay their taxes." They stated, "illegal aliens use an ITIN number to report their income. The reason they use this is b/c they plan to fix their status in the near future, however they do NOT pay taxes. If they owe anything they usually don't pay it. Their check stubs have only their name, no pin number or any other information on them. When they get paid the company they work for cashes their check. My daughter graduated with a degree in finance last year and looked for a job for months before taking a job with PF Chang's as a hostess. Most legal citizens will use these jobs as an interim until they find something else or as a second job to catch up on their bills but we need these jobs as a safety net. It is the lack of these jobs that many find themselves having to move back home.

I don't hate Mexicans. I have grandchildren, nieces, & nephews that are Mexican. They are no different than my other grandchildren and family members, but I am tied of supporting people from a country that encourages them to come here and live off of our hard work. People are people regardless of where they are from, but we as people are responsible for ourselves and shouldn't expect others to take from themselves to give to us and that is what is happening now in this situation.

Americans won't "do" any of those jobs long-term. Yes, many people will take lower-paying jobs to get through hard times, but when the economy improves, do you think that woman with the master's degree will continue to work at Pei Wei? We all know the answer to that.
