@rickyirishman I know. VTM has elders manipulating you in complex power schemes that last for decades. I've never actually played rp or tabletop, though I think I'd rather play rp. I'm interested in Mage: The Awakening(as a Thyrsus), VTM(as a Malkavian), and Werewolf The Apocalypse (as a Silent Strider). However, the latter are older, and I have no idea where to start looking for a group to play with. Ditto for the first, even though that one's newer.

Of course, when I had that club shoot out with those guys in China Town, where every freaking person in the club thought it was safe to run right into my katana, I lost a lot of points. And the club lost a lot of people. The only person left alive after the karnage? The DJ, who had been dancing the whole time. I accredit his safety to other, darker means.

One of them - Therese - looks like a business woman, the second - Jeanette wears school uniform and fkcs everything that moves. The place is filled with freaks, addicts, and so on. Gotta remember that VTM vampires have no libido and no sexual lust in the sense that humans do. The males are permanently impotent due to a lack of a heartbeat. Honestly, it's just another one of those realistic factoids that make it grossly superior to the teen-girl friendly Twilight bullshit.

Jeanette and VV are sluts only for mortal men, and they do it for manipulation/feeding purposes. Plus, Jeanette does it because she's a child abuse victim. Fucked up but true, just think about it.

Played this game through a long time ago, recently found Companion Mod and reinstalled, and having a thrill with this game. I really love the song too, somehow it felt it symbolized the game and the vampire struggle about as much as Jeanette seemed to represent the vampires found in the game in her own sultry way on the cover of the game anyhow.

the whole point of playing a hunter was to actually experience the system as prey, true horror ensues. most players forgot this. if you gm with a group that treat humans as food only (esp.if they're sabbat), try having every npc regard THEM as prey. WOD is supposed to be horror, the more powerful the PC's, the more they have to lose, the more horror. on a lighter note, this tune is now on my top 10 ever.

@KinguNoKin If you patch with the recent unofficial 7.5 patch and use Plus, there is a dodge book instead of the twig, so 2 dodge points (sell/re-buy) instead of 1 defense.

The plus version smooths out some of the side quests and possibly other things and restores some unfinished content that was scraped in the development. Started playing with it recently, but I'm only finishing up Santa Monica, can't judge yet.
