  • As a JW, I would have thought you would have been very familiar with Jim Jones, Kool-Aid, and Jonestown. After all, you guys have much in common.

  • Thanks for responding 00Grendel00. Those names you mentioned are not familiar to us here in the Philippines. Maybe they are in your country. THanks for your comment. =)

  • Ever heard of "Google?"

  • Yes 108thFifthColumn.

  • I wonder...what is this good news of the kingdom that Jehovah's Witnesses preach?

  • Hi there gr8name1. Thank you for viewing my video. In answer to your question, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that God's Kingdom will soon bring about drastic changes on earth soon, will transform this earth into a paradise where righteous people will live forever, the original plan that Jehovah had when he created Adam and Eve. God's Kingdom will be under the hands of it's King, Jesus Christ. In fulfillment of Mat 24:14, we preach this good news of the Kingdom for all to hear and benefit as well.

  • Vary noble...but, I believe the good news is the gospel of Christ which is the proclamation of the plan of God for salvation through Jesus Christ, the Redeemer of humanity. It is the life, death, and ressurection of Christ that the servants of God are to proclaim.

  • According to scripture to my understanding, it is the proclamation of salvation in the name of Jesus and the faith in His accomplished work of salvation, accompanied by the confession to His Lordship in ones life that one becomes a member of the kingdom of God. Is it not a spiritual birth?

  • Universal Love is what Jesus is all about. Do not forget and do not fear for Jesus said.."Today, you will be with me in Paradise"

  • I grew up around witnesses in southwest Iowa. I went to their weekend socials, I studied, I worked for them. All I can say is although I do not believe their beliefs I realy enjoyed their friendships. It sad to me now that they Know I do not beleive we really can no longer have the close friendships we had before. Their are a lot of non-believers who share their moral choices. This belief that all outsiders are evil sets up an us against them mentality that is very damaging.

  • Thank you for your comment melvyd2. I have lots of close friends who are not witnesses. Christian love extends to all kinds of people, no matter what their religious backgrounds are. As the Bible states in Galatians 6:10, we are encouraged to "work what is good toward all." The bible teaches us to love our neighbors. Jehovah's Witnesses shows this love in many different ways, but primarily in voluntarily putting the kingdom preaching and disciple making work first in their lives.

  • On the other hand, we strive to limit our association with people who willfully disobey Jehovah's laws and shows no respect to His authority. As the Bible states in James 4:4, "friendship with the world is enmity with God." The bible gives us this admonition, "Therefore get out from among them, and separate yourselves,' says Jehovah" in 2 Corinthians 6:17. But we do spend considerable time with individuals who are willing to live by Bible principles and to serve Jehovah.

  • I have some news for you, sister. There are many righteous people on this planet, who do not call themselves Jehovahs Witnesses, or even Christians. Universal Love is an Inherent Right of All Human Beings. Remember that when you drink the WATER THEY PROVIDE YOU. Look closer into your 'Bible'. Find the mistakes and then remember that God Is Love.

  • Thank you for your comment. I respect your beliefs and I don't see any reason why we would have to throw words at each other and enforce our own beliefs. We do not force people to believe what we preach. If you are convinced that what we have is not the truth, then you can go your way, no hurtful words needed to leave behind. Thank you for taking the time to watch my videos. P.S. I'm not a sister, i'm a brother. Take Care.

  • Try looking up the origin of the word God. Do you even know where it came from? But it creates a feeling, doesn't it? Words are interesting. Hindu religion believes that there are 330 million names for God, and that that's an underestimate.

  • Thank you for the information. God Bless.

  • Wow look at all the clothes they wear that are made by people of the world! And the phones they use!

  • What do you mean? Is there something wrong with the clothes or the cell phones we use?

  • They are made by the people whom you say are condemned to death. It's called a matter of utter hypocrisy.

  • Is that how you define hypocrisy? And who said the people that made them are condemned to death? The Bible encourages Christians in 1 Cor. 7:31 "those making use of the world as those not using it to the full for the scene of this world is changing." Obviously this verse implies that Christians would still have to make use of the things of the world but is being discouraged not to use it to the full! What does this mean?

  • It means that Christians should safeguard themselves from living a materialistic way of life. AS a matter of fact, the Bible states in 1 Tim. 6:9,10 "those who are determined to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and many senseless and hurtful desires......For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things..." Rather, true Christians strive to "keep on seeking first the kingdom and his righteousness, and all these other things will be added..." to them. Mat. 6:33.

  • A vital part of this seeking first the kingdom is devoting our time and energy in preaching the good news of Jehovah's Kingdom in all the inhabited earth in fulfillment of Mat 24:14. That is why wherever you go Jehovah's Witnesses are busy with the preaching work currently being done in 236 lands.

  • "those making use of the world as those not using it to the full for the scene of this world is changing."

Yea lol, you SO need the cell phones. And are those children's toys I see? What's the matter, you can't make your own? oh, I see, yes, a matter of convenience. Is that it? Use them plastic-making people! For they are not blessed by YHWH! Only those who came from a man who used numerology to create false dates of the end of the world, they are the blessed! Well, wurrah-wurrah.

  • no thanks.

  • STAY AWAY from this destructive cult!

  • thank you for your comment. Take care.
