I have MW2 and Black Ops but i didnt buy MW3 why? here is my answer: COD is shoot, die, take half a second to spawn, and do it all over again. in bf3 everything is constantly changing. maybe you are hiding behind a wall. then you run and come back the wall is gone. COD players are really annoying because they just take out noob tube or RPG.bf3 players think about what they do. A majority of COD players suck at realistic games like this but some are good. thats why we don't want COD players.

@johnnykhodr Most of it is true but what about those players in battlefiled that sit or prone in a bush, the ones that sit right at the back of the map with snipers trying to get a good kd and not playing the objective, the ones that don't put out ammo or health packs or don't revive or just camp somewhere. And you can't say all of these players are from cod either.

Btw, have you tried the G3A3 gun which is the last gun you get by collecting co-op points? You should do a review on it, it has insane damage an is very accurate with single shot on long ranges.

Holiday Doc- Don't let the Battlefield community get you down. The majority aren't veteran BF players but rather newly discovered fan-boys who feel a need to make this a gang style mentality. Its crazy to see the First Person Shooter community at odds with each other... It'll be interesting to see what MW3 brings out in terms of trolls and haters. Either way, I reserved both and am buying both. Period.

I've been a COD player since COD-4 and been on BF since BFBC2 and I absolutely love both! Its almost unfair to try and compare the two games as they are so different there is no reason. I can promise you that COD aren't going to ruin BF3 and visa versa... Anyone who legitimately thinks either of these games sucks needs to stop playing FPS
The reason the Battlefield community doesn't want CoD players is simply because of camper's, quickscoping, and drop-shots; Battlefield goes for a more realistic style of gaming and has done a great job of doing it. CoD on the other hand is fake.

We dont want call of duty players because all they do is bring camping. Battlefield 3 should not be full of campers but CoD players will bring camping and some kind of quickscoping. The truth is COD players have had an elitist attitude about "their" game for years now. Personally, I have played both games for years and in doing so have had more COD players criticize me for playing Battlefield than the reverse. It's always the same thing... they say "COD is the best" "Camperfield is boring". All loyal BF fans have heard these comments and don't want the bandwagon jumping mass to corrupt BF.

What we don't like is when people start telling battlefield players that teamwork is second to your personal K/D and how one should properly play a fps (never a ammo or health box in sight). We are in a shaky transition as the players from the COD community adjust to the Battlefield game/playstyle/community and vice versa. Overtime some will adjust, some won't, and at that point it will be busniess as usual. Its like having a rival football team play in a home game, its likely to get rough.

honestly the reason why i hate cod players in my battlefield is that they are horrible team players, and if battlefield blows up huge then my lobbies will be full of little kids and people who don't play the objective. its already happening with this beta, i played bc2 all the time for over a year and ive seen more people not playing this objective this week than i did the entire year and some months i played bc2.
i would rather have more people play battlefield than call of duty the problem is most cod players try to find glitches or something else and they abuse it. part of the reason why i play battlefield is because i dont want to deal with that crap. games are suposed to be fun not stressfull.
@LFCTraynor it is bigger sales for consolles, everyone knows that but that isnt the point, the point is that the game is made from scratch for a pc platform, that makes the game great for pc, while most other lets say cod is made for consoll and converted to pc. its easy to scale down a game for a consoll, but scaling stuff up for pc, thats another story.

Really some COD players are objective players then kill whores.I play in a clan who plays domination a all we do is capture,and hold the objective.I play battlefield just the same as I play COD,and guess what I help my team,and the only person with enough balls to run out,and revive my teamates,and give them ammo,and health.You can't just say "Oh you play COD Gtfo." No because i've played against hardened BF players on the beta,and BFBC2,and beat them the same way I play COD.

battlefield players dont want COD players playing BF3 because of the stereotypes that are associated with COD players. My team iDentity is Pro on Killzone and we have been received very well by the Pro Ps3 battlefield community (AoB, TAo, SnM, etc.)

When I see rank 1 players in the beta, I instantly think COD player. It's just a habit. 12 million people downloaded the beta. It's 10 times more likely that the beta is overrun with COD players.

CoD players to come to BF, camping for kills, not playing the objective and just generally being useless, TEAMPLAY is something completely new to most CoD players and is the key point in BF games, this is why we tell them to stay the fuck away, we don't want to have to deal with this stupidity, you don't win in BF by making kills or having a high K/D, atleast not when you're getting these kills by camping in a corner which most CoD players do in BF

@digitalZXLCA Honestly I don't see the teamwork. If you're on the defending the side is basically kill whoring. I've dropped 60 kill games (not often but I have) I average 30-40 kills. I've played games where I armed 4 out of the 6 objective. I've played games where I'm the only person doing anything on my team. Yes there are instances where my "team" helped me out, but for the most part honestly I don't agree with the guys saying "It's team based" I've been playing since BF2 by the way.

Battlefield doesn't need the help of the CoD community to be successful. Our community is amazing. CoDs community is absolute shit. It's full of little kids and kill whores. Battlefield is about playing the objective, playing as a team, and WINNING. That is what makes Battlefield great. CoD players jepeordize that by being HORRIBLE team players. CoD players are welcome, but they have to make that transition to being a team player above everything else. Most wont, which is why we chastise them.

I've seen far more BF fanboys trolling on CoD videos than CoD Fanboys trolling BF videos. That's what you call mature and amazing? Oh ok. And teamplaying, yes, I experienced that too. Mobile spawn points are kind of awesome because it means that you don't have to run for two or three minutes before getting to the action because all of the vehicles are gone and you've spawned a mile away from where things are going on. The maps in BF are generally pretty huge. I understand people getting upset that they feel that CoD players are not PTFO, but neither do a lot of BF players. I'm looking at you recon guys who sit in the spawn...

@johnnykhodr Most of it is true but what about those players in battlefiled that sit or prone in a bush, the ones that sit right at the back of the map with snipers trying to get a good kd and not playing the objective, the ones that don't put out ammo or health packs or don't revive or just camp somewhere. The truth is COD players have had an elitist attitude about "their" game for years now. What we don't like is when people start telling battlefield players that teamwork is second to your personal K/D and how one should properly play a fps (never a ammo or health box in sight). We are in a shaky transition as the players from the COD community adjust to the Battlefield game/playstyle/community and vice versa. Overtime some will adjust, some won't, and at that point it will be busniess as usual. Its like having a rival football team play in a home game, its likely to get rough.

I've played games where I armed 4 out of the 6 objective. I've played games where I'm the only person doing anything on my team. Yes there are instances where my "team" helped me out, but for the most part honestly I don't agree with the guys saying "It's team based" I've been playing since BF2 by the way.

Players in beta dont care about objectives unfortunately

Mobile spawn points are kind of awesome because it means that you don't have to run for two or three minutes before getting to the action because all of the vehicles are gone and you've spawned a mile away from where things are going on. The maps in BF are generally pretty huge. I understand people getting upset that they feel that CoD players are not PTFO, but neither do a lot of BF players. I'm looking at you recon guys who sit in the spawn...

To answer your question: Because we rather have less people who play good, than have a lot of people that turn this game into what is not. Let me put it in other words. QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.
I don't care if you are a Cod player or a Halo player etc, all i care is for people to understand that this game is an objective type game, and it sucks when you are the only person in the whole team caring for the objective bcus everyone else is killing each other like if this was a domination game.

A lot of people on Battlefield like playing the objective, having their game realistic. CoD players come in with quick scoping and shit, kill whoring and forgetting the objective. It pisses people off, so they don't want them there. (That's just my guess)

yeah people should drop ammo more often lol I haven't played anything but Assault and Recon on the Beta so far, so I try to put health in active spots and put the mobile spawnpoint in good areas. ;D

hardcore bf players (like me) dont want cod kids in our game because when they make the switch, they still have the thought mentality of what you would do in cod (which is do nothing but kill shit). you can pick them right out of the crowd becauise theyll either camp in a corner, or dropshot, try to spawntrap,or qs, and not do what theyre supposed to do in bf, like revive or surpress etc. to us THAT IS REALLY FRUSTRATING WHEN WE GET KILLED BY COD FANBOYS. hope i cleared that up

1 time i died and there was a medic right next to me and he doesent revive me, or an engineer who doesent repair your vehicle, or a support who doesent dropp ammo, or a recon who doesent drop radio beacons. their easily identified as cod fanboys

I've Played the beta on PC & Jesus Christ, you BF fanboys are terrible at your own game.
I can't count how many people I've killed who are just hiding bushes & How many times I've been told to go back to Call of Duty because I do good while running n gunning.

I think that we (The Battlefield community) like the way it is. Not too many players, but at the same time not too few... I also think that after seeing what has happened to the CoD community frightens us, since Battlefield might become what CoD is.
And I/we don't like CoD players (in general) because most of them are just going after kills, not arming the objective which is what all Battlefield players do and like...

yea this subject reminds me when the sf giants won the world series. Yea you make and support a game so your hardcore fans will hopefully love it. the giants had a swarm of people jumping on the bandwagon which is a good thing. why hate cod players for helping to maybe take cod of it's pedestal when all there doing is to confirm what battlefield players have believed all along. Its stupid to deny mass appeal just for sake of being cool.

The one map thats on the beta, is really not good for team play, no vehicles and the pads are really broken in the beta as well.
The thing is, if you play assault, trow some ammo!, a lot of COD play don't help at all, just lone wolfing

I have nothing against Docs playing style. I actually hope every cod players would play like that on BF3.
Only problem is he's attitude. He's acting like little kid,(has that filthy cod blood in his vains) and put words in other mouths.
So my tip for you Doc is that you need to grow up. Would probably help you get rid of those haters.
