My problem with the remake of A Nightmare On Elm Street was that in the original, one of the best and most effective tools was you never knew when you entered the dream world. Everything seemed okay, then it started to get a little wrong, then a little more wrong then you're slammed with HOLY FUCK WHAT WAS THAT?! The remake just lets you know almost right away 90 percent of the time that you're in Freddy's realm.
