freshman f. horn player looking forward to playing this piece! It sounds so cool! I mean the f. Horn soli? right? is just awesome....I gotta work extra hard to be as good as my senior players though!!
nice. first off, i would like to comment that the oboe solo could have been taken a little slower, but then again, every conductor has different preferences. Also, as for the snare in bar 198, i feel it's fine. I myself play it a little softer, with little cresendos at the end of each bar. As said again, different conductors, different styles.
Hi Powerofgod , i'm a percussionist , as wat i know for cymbals , there are 3 ways of crashing the cymbal tat is striking it down , towards the audiences or upwards .. 4 years experience in the percussionist , i unerstand wat cymbal players are going through . it's not easy though to play the cymbals . Nice day !
there is 2 thing i wan to comment about this band.1st is the crash symbol,i didnt see anyone crash like this before,u crash below u isn't it strange?how do u let the sound fill through the hall?and at bar 198 whr the snare came in i could hardly hear it.Thats all i wan to comment.
the percussion section is also on risers, so the symbols dont deed to be crashed above the player's body in order for the sound to travel over the band, the placement of the risers guarantee that the sound will travel throughout the hall

This never feels quite right. I never felt the beautiful waltz soar over everything as it should. I guess it all sounded extremely mechanical.
