Hey, when I set my active subwoofer up to my amp, then it removes all the low frequencies from my front speakers!!! ): Like, it's a waste of power, it only sends high freq's to them, eventhough they got a nice bass!

My amp is a Pioneer VSX-D2011 :( Does anyone know if i am able to set this off? So if I activate the sub, the front speakers will still play as normal? :)

@ThePunkfisk well you need to tune the bass ot the fronts... you can do it with a hardware filter or with software (but not that way with the DVD player) . Also.. you are ruining the whole experience with this fake decoder and these lossy compressed stuff... go lossless, attach a PC and cut off the bass from the sub to 100hz and try tuning fronts to stay near 100hz max :> that's how I do it.. write me a PM if you need hints. Good system ! But I'm saying it again.. YOU COULD DO BETTER with these

@itotem1 No reciver power XLS-215 properly. You need a reciver with pre-out, and a poweramp. Cerwin Vega CXA-10 is a good choice. Or Crown or some other PA poweramps. Or you could buy a stereo pre-amp, and a poweramp on that instead.

@MicGrez I have a Z-5500. I'm totally satisfied with the bass, that 10 inch thing can shake my bedroom, but I agree the mids/highs quality isn't soo good. As a hip-hop and electronic music listener, that ain't a problem for me. Cerwin Vegas are way bigger and more powerful than the Logitech... You'll also need a powerful amp to handle them... Can't say anything related to CV's quality cause I've never heard them in person.

@PoopMasterMike99 They are pretty much the same as xls 12. Xls 12 can handle a bit more, and got better mid-unit. But xls 28 can't be compared to xls 15. In theory is 2x8" the same as 1x12". Not 16" like many think.

@caydn2 An amplifier power up the speakers. All speakers need an amplifier to make sound. Some speakers got the amplifier built in, and others not. These do not got one built inside. So when you buy these, you need to buy a strong amplifier as well, and the cables. I bet your earlier systems had the cables included in the pack, but real systems normally don't include cables. The cables you need is speakers wires to connect to your speakers and amplifier, and one from the amplifier to ur pc.

@lilpimp13131 In this video I used a poor Onkyo reciver, was only using it while I was saving up for a stronger one. If I remember right it did 2x80watt RMS 8ohm, and 5x55watt RMS 8ohm. I'm now using a Cerwin Vega CXA-10 amp. 2x550watt RMS 8ohm. Maximum output 2800watt.
