my brake failed once while climbing a hill...it rolled down backwards, i tried pulling the handbrake and putting in first fear to stop the motion, but the handbrake wasnt strong enough, the gear seems useless in a reverse direction, i tried changing to reverse gear, but it keep rolling down...luckily down the sharp corner there wasnt any car coming...i was helpless...and just let it roll down until even land...,until today no idea y my brake fails...it works perfectly after that...on even road..

He is working hard, and most of the time risking danger to show others what to do when the unexpected comes. So to criticizing him with negative comments is just a wast of time. These films could be very useful for the outdoor loving ones, who likes nature. The sofa lovers always will be jeolous, and posting bad comments. I think the show is geat, only feel sorry of his family, as they always have to worry for his safety.

Yeah but this is more usefull to the average person. People losing their brakes on a downhill will happen more often than some asshat getting lost in the sahara, rainforest or canada.

He's not actually in a huge amount of danger, but in the Sahara Desert episode, he mentions part of his film crew got dehydrated, so there still is an element of danger present.
