The story has a moral to not consume any harmful or toxic substance and to be mindful of the labels on bottles and not get into the medicine cabinet. A good book for children in between the ages of 4 - 12, and may be enjoyed by adults and teenagers who can also learn from Riptie's Big Mistake.
