  • He fell over..... whoopdedoo ._.

  • If you lock your knees on parade, it's very common for the blood to pool in your legs. Eventually you faint. Happens all the time with new soldiers in their first parade if the NCO's don't brief them beforehand.

  • All I know is that you don't laugh at a man that fights and kills a Grizzly bear with his bare hands and turns it into a hat for Sunday best! :-)

  • He didn't fall, that's where the guards sleep and he was just the last one up....

  • This happens all the time man lol Inspection is even worse, inspection can go ALL DAY and you'll be standing in full dress like a statue while the tailor and the sergeant major go through each guardsman individually. If you pass out the medics come and drag you away and somebody else step into your spot and keeps going. He probably got a good smacking and a fine for it later.

  • You burn an extra 1,000 calories in a day of marching and standing to attention than a normal day. Stood to attention in the baking sun, bear skin hat, thick wool tunic, boots that cut circulation off to the feet requires stamina not many people can say they have. These are frontline combat troops aswell, remember that.

  • he probably slipped because of the metal studs we have on our boots, shit happens we crack on. SG!!

  • BUT he got up and carried on!!!!...not like professional football players whom roll around when they are tapped on the shin's these are REAL MEN!!!!!!

  • Chinese: Hey! someone falls

  • @Gilvin Isn't it pronounced: Hey! Somerun farrs!

  • @jsf926 sor sor nihao nihao

  • Probably was in the Stag in Victoria til 2 am!!!

  • I wonder what this would be called in America if one of there combat veterans and hero's suffered from heat exhaustion, a presidential fail?

  • >.> second choice the coldstreamers... I've got ADHD too :-/ well did have... but I'm still a tad impatient... not the best job choice, but they certainly look good ;-)

  • when your stood still for a long period of time the circulation messes up and some times you faint alot of guys in my platoon have done it... trick is wiggle yourtoes

  • its not really a fail...hes probably been standing still for over an hour..

  • They have metal studs on the soles could have slipped over?

  • Awesome! the top comments are tied 50/50!!

I really want to go see that movie, lol

  • awwwwww. bless.

  • Happens to the best.

  • guy probably passed out, it can get very warm in those uniform when in the sun long enough

  • DID HE Pass out ???

  • If anyone knows the language spoken, tell me the translation! I'm curious

  • @UB30

Hey, one of the guards fell ! But why?

  • @nghanshing wow, never thought it was malaysian (thought it was european language...) Cheers!

  • @UB30 Actually it's not "Malaysian" , it's chinese in a Malaysian accent.

  • @nghanshing I think this is Taiwan accent.

  • @nghanshing am confused... some say it's Taiwanese Chinese as well

  • @UB30 It’s mandarin Chinese

  • @UB30 Its chinese

  • @UB30 chinese, directly translated, one fell down.

  • @UB30 Malaysian? Thats not malay...

  • @UB30 It's not 'Malaysian' as in Malay language... otherwise I would've understood.

  • @nghanshing because they have to stand very still for a long time, and the bear skin they wear is very heavy to wear

  • @nghanshing he might of fainted, drill is pretty exuasting, or could of lost his balance.

  • @nghanshing , proberly he fainted for a bit, it can happend under pressure, it happends, but he got and resume his duty, see other videos for example.

  • @UB30 Sounds Finnish

  • @UB30 It was mandarin, He said "One fell"

  • @UB30 'Someone fallen', in Taiwan Chinese.

  • @UB30 translation; oh yeah, stick it in my ass, more more more

  • When i was a cadet this happened to me, those uniforms look 8 times hotter then the ones we had to wear though, heat stroke

  • To anyone making smart comments, those tunics are extremely hot and then the heat and weight of the bearskin too, so to anyone who thinks this is funny you go and wear their uniform and perfectly still for hours on end.

  • well where else is he meant to fall over? the sky?

  • Probably a new guardsman most forget to hydrate properly, I always remember what an American Marine Sergeant said to his men when I was visiting the Base "Alright ladies I want you all to go into those latrine and check you damn pee!"lol

  • Wow poor guy! Hope he was okay :[

  • I hear wiggling your toes is a good tactic.

  • Atleast he got back up and got back inline, thanks god for these boys!

  • lol

  • He was later executed for treason.

  • are they allowed to sleep on street?

  • probably a private who locked his knees..almost happend to me when i was in boot camp

  • Very proffesional of him to just get back up

  • Happens to the best of us. First week at Ft. Knox I locked my knees.

  • @af1iRockNIKES Whats wrong with locking your knees?

  • @SlugDropsonheads You cut off the circulation of blood flow to your brain causing you to pass out briefly.

  • @SlugDropsonheads It cuts off the circulation going to the upper body causing you be pass out for a short time.

  • I'm impressed that the bearskin is still on his head.

  • he just tire hey he is human too!!

  • I like how the description says "fell over! on the floor!". What else would he fall onto? Molten volcanic ash?

  • @Someloke8895 Actually, it looks like he fell on the sidewalk - not the floor?

  • @TenthPrestegeisaFAG There are no pavements inside the grounds of Bk'ham Palace or any of the other areas they Guard (except the Tower of London)

    He fell onto gravel

  • The. Blood pools in your feet, causing you to pass out.

  • Yeah he probably passed out, I would if I had to stand there all day!

  • What do you guys mean with locking your knees? O_o How the hell can u put a lock around your knees?! :O

  • @melanie1254 it just means standing straight and not bending your knees it like messes with your circulation and you pass out its happens a lot to ppl like in weddings lol

  • @beatlesflowerchild

lol.. and will you take Mrs.Johnson as your dear wife? And woop he passes out :D

  • Seen that happen about ten times since I joined the Army 5 years ago, although unfortunately this was one of the more embarrassing places for it to happen! But like someone else said, it happens far more often then most people think.

  • damn, you know that poor guy got teased by his mates and chewed out by his commanding officer.........

  • @Darthbelal

Happens to the best of them. Gotta learn to not lock the knees mate.

  • I love how the author of this video added "On the floor" to "The guard fell over" .. No shit lol

  • Heard some Mandarin speaking in the background audio.

  • Probably top heavy with that hat

  • 1982JMF what's your problem do u h8 tradition or r u against the ARMY coz this is the second vid u have said somthin like this on

  • i always dreaded that day it does happen though more than some folk think

  • this ain't a nice job in any way at all. they get nothing out of doing this. they will most likely suffer back problems due to over straining there bodies by standign up too much

  • /watch?v=S5eLIzlk4rE

  • dont lock your knees!

  • @wierdemopunk exactly

  • @wierdemopunk Why not?

  • @wierdemopunk LOL. That's what we say in band/color guard xD

  • the thing you have to do when standing at attention you have to bend your knees a little so the blood can flow threw trust me ive seen many people fall over for not doing that

  • @mangokiller111

Yea or just constantly wiggle your toes

  • standing still for a long time can drain the blood out your head so unless you keep moving your toes inside your boots you can pass out

  • Yup, probably locked his knees. And those bearskins probably weigh 5-10lbs, leaving out the rest of the uniform. Poor bastard.

  • How did he fall over? Poor guy. :(

  • Probably passed out. That happened to me the first week at Paris Island.

  • @Fishdogpigsquirrel he probably locked his knees

  • @Fishdogpigsquirrel

same in Royal Netherlands Army (:

standing still for too long, you can slightly lift your heels! it's good for the bloodflow in your feet

  • @Helghast470 Thats one way Dutch people pass out... lol jk

  • @Fishdogpigsquirrel marines?

  • @kingelvis19 That was my cousin who sent that message 2 years ago. Yeah, he's a marine.

  • @Fishdogpigsquirrel Aha! this why they wear a BIG hat! to protect their heads when they fall!
