  • i can notice that you jam often on this backing track, correct me if I'm wrong, it's blue jean blues, nice jam, nice guitar too

  • Hey what is better on this guitar- Tune o matic or wraparound end like in this video? Please explain, i dont know too much.

  • Mighty tasty tones there. Sound BETTER than any late model FULL LP!

  • where in the world do you get these?! cuz i can not find them anywhere

  • hey, how did you get the special with a bound neck? all the ones i see have an unbound neck. i was in GC the other day and i fell in love with a Gibson Les Paul special with dual P-90s for $999. it had the bound neck and the rose-style tuners. i got home and looked it up but couldnt find it online. i was really bummed.

  • @UprisingRomans121 It's from the Custom Shop, maybe that's why there's a binding

  • love the mic stand

  • Perfect throaty clean sound

  • Great tone, what are you using(electronics) to play the back ground rhythm?

  • Even if i prefer brown's tremolo, i love small 50's fender tweeds especially when cranked , did you post a demo of this baby "on the edge" or more? without any OD pedal .

    is it a 5E11 or 5F11 circuit ? with the original P10R ?

How do it growl with the P90s ? ! I believe that it is awesome.

    Cheers

  • @69axis no, I can't krank the amp up here at home (neighbours)

  • @GregsGuitars I know that too ! solution is called : Weber Mass .

    Peace

  • I love the range of sounds you get from one amp/effect setting. The single tailpiece makes the strings slack and gives a lot of character to the sound. I have a double-cut studio which is ver similar to you guitar. Its not dialed in as well as you are just yet. =) Thanks for sharing. What gauge are you using? I'm up to 12's because I'm used to more string tension.

  • How many watts is the '59 vibrolux?

  • lol, nice mic stand. Great playing as well.

  • Why have you cut your beard, billy ? It's blues time now....Blue jean blues cover, Pure Magic as usual !!!!!

  • Very nice vid. Is that TV Yellow? Looks white in the vid. I have a red '96 DC Special and I adore it. Not Custom Shop, but it's a nice instrument. It has the T-O-M bridge with a Vibramate and a Bigsby.

  • @nolan83 it is more a vintage white color on this

  • Polish your shoes! Your Mother would be so disappointed in you!!

  • @snotmale If you think his shoes are bad, don't come to my house

  • ZZ top !

  • Sounds great!

  • Are these P-90's?

  • yes!

  • @GregsGuitars how would you compare the p90s here to custom shop p90s. Like is it hotter than custom shop or is it a little muddy. I found the custom shops a little more trebly but my ears could be wrong. I love the finish on this guitar though. To me pickups were 2nd most important to me after the neck so please tell us the pickup comparison between the two guitars.

  • @86shay86 In fact I've also a recent Special (marked "Model" on the neck?!!), with th e same pick ups but I think in the beginning , early 60's, there was P100, not P90 p-u like the Junior. Am I right, and what's the difference btw both model? I love the double cut Junior and Special, so fine, so elegant, so rounded!

  • Pelligrino!

  • Hallo Greg

  • @GregsGuitars

    Danke für die Antwort

  • He can even make that thing sound great!

  • What do you mean "even that thing"? Both the guitar and the amp especially are GREAT pieces of gear!

  • Love that Blue Jean Blues tone!

  • very cool. Nice teddy bear mic stand too hahaha

  • How much do those LP Special reissues go for?

  • what kind of fretboard is that?

  • rosewood

  • ok. i thought it wasn't cuz it was too dark..

  • yeah, at first i thought it was ebony..

  • Hi Greg. Hesitating between Custom Shop Les Paul Special and vintage Les Paul Special (like a '59). Beyond the obvious cool factor, is the price difference really justified? What about putting an original vintage P90 on a new LP special?

I would really benefit from your large experience in trying hundreds of guitars. Thanks

  • an old LP Special is something different. But these Reissues are great guitars of course

  • Very nice bold thick tone!...... very moody

  • bitchin!
