  • Is that Doc Rivers? Sounds like it could be him before years of coaching ravaged his vocal chords!

  • I always wonder why mj was so poor from downtown this year when the three or four previous one he was a threat from beyond the arc

  • Is that Doc Rivers Commenting that game ?

  • @kefir0076 That's what I was wondering, I think it is Doc. He's actually not a bad commentator. BTW - MJ ALL DAY lol

  • I want to kill Jim Mclaviane for fucking up Shawn Kemp's career!!

  • @tblacc11 Things that Jordan HAVE DONE that Kobe HAS NOT DONE: #1) Rookie of the Year 1985, #2)Defensive Player of the Year 1988, #3) 200 steals and 100 blocks in the SAME SEASON, #4) 50% FG, #5) the league scoring champ 8 years in a row, #6) holds the highest PPG for career with 33.4, #7) Most points scored in a playoff game with 64 #8) scored 3,000points in a season, #9) lead the league in steals, #10) won a college championship game....oh yeah! He's also in the Basketball Hall of Fame.

  • @tblacc11 i appreciate the insults. i now know you are 12yrs old.

  • @tblacc11

"kobe came out of high school so fuck rookie of the year"

Funny how U morons ALWAYS diss any award that doesn't apply to kobe.

    "could have had mvp anytime"

Then why couldn't he win it with Shaq? That's what I thought..

"nba chose 2 give it 2 nash and nowitski 2 keep white people happy"

I'm black, and he SHOULDN'T have won it those seasons because not only were they puttin up BETTER overall #s than him, their teams were kickin' the SHIT outta LA during those seasons LOL!!

  • @tblacc11

"im not lookin up kobe numbers b/c im not a nerd"

No you're a moron, because only morons find fault with people for actually providing PROOF to what they're saying. I bet while you're in school, you're 1 of those big mouth, dumb ass "johnny to cool" kids, who'll try to run his mouth about something he CLEARLY doesn't know about, then diss the kids who give the right answers LOL!!

    Fuckin' idiot...SMH

We used to slap da sh*t outta idiots like U in school...

  • @tblacc11 As far as your 80 point game, I just want to reply with Kobe's other stats during that game. It was either 2 rebounds and 0 assists or 0 rebounds and 2 assists, I don't remember which. Jordan's 69 point game was against a team that went to the Conference Finals (what have the Raptors ever done again? Not gotten out of the first round) and Jordan put up 19 rebounds and 7 assists in his 69 point game. Your argument is a complete and total joke when you try to call Kobe anything near MJ..

  • @tblacc11

    "jordan had far better players"

MJ's not the 1 that's played with 8 different guys to avg in double figures at various times during pre-title & title seasons, nor has he played with a TOTAL of 7 "DIFFERENT" All Stars.

And MJ has about as many 80 pt games as kobe has 3000+ pt seasons: 0. kobe can't even score over 2832 pts. MJ's BESTED that TWICE & has BESTED kobe's 2nd best pt total season 7 times LOL!!

No one's afraid of kobe, MJ fans are just SICK TO DEATH of idiots like yourself...

  • @tblacc11

You are a fucking idiot that doesn't know shit about basketball

  • @Hawkhunter07 and ur mama suck dick

  • @tblacc11

I see you haven't denied my claim, and yes obviously my mom does that how else would she have given birth to me? But I'm pretty sure your mom sucked some crackhead's dick to give birth to such a stupid person like you on earth lmfao

  • @Hawkhunter07 get a life u stupid ass dork. unlike u pathetic redneck ass.&by the way.if i wanted to respond again and really gave a damn &was gay like u & fantasized ab hitting kobe from the bk like u fantasize about hittin jordan from the back, i could post many stats of kobe's where he broke jordan records such as num of 30 point games in a row, num of 40 point games in a row, etc.there are a lot more, bt guess what, im not a loser like u and ur mama a bitch 4 havin u, nasty ass slug

  • @tblacc11

    YOUMAD?

Tell me about Kobe's records in the playoffs, for starters.....how many 50+ games does Kobe has in the playoff? what is his highest average in a final series? What is his playoffs career average?

If Kobe is so good shouldn't he elevate his game in the playoffs?

Please tell me about his records in the playoffs

    UMAD?

  • @Hawkhunter07 stop sending me comments retard and get a life u damn computer nerd, better yet try getting some pussy, that is a female will talk to ur measle face ass...i dnt give a damn about kobe or jordan...and oh yeah, i know basketball better than ur entire family and my knowledge or skill doesnt come from watching espn and regurgitating what they say like u do...damn ur pathetic, its kind of sad...u homoerotic ass idiot

  • Comment removed

  • @tblacc11 Because Jordan would school Kobe

  • Comment removed

  • @tblacc11 Look at all stats...Jordan kills Kobe in everything. Like they say over and over in this video, MJ is also the best fundmentally, and has heart like no other in the game, ever.

  • @tblacc11 Kobe's played more games than Mike and he leads jordan in 3's attempted and made and turnovers. Those are the only statistical categories he leads mike in. ppg, rbs, assists, steals, double-doubles, triple-doubles, 40 point games 50 point games. And even worse Kobe's played w/better players. when u say he has 5 rings you really should say 2 cause the ones where he wasn't the best player on his own team don't really count in the rings debate. shaq won all the finals mvps.

  • @tblacc11

"what has jordan done that kobe hasn't?"

For U to ask that question only highlights just how incredibly DUMB or young U are, maybe both..

"jordan fans scared that kobe will get more rings"

That won't make him equal or more better, because that's a TEAM accomplishment not a gauge for INDIVIDUAL ability, skill or talen.

Damn dumb ass, just how ignorant are U?

    SMH..

  • @tblacc11

"jordan had a lot of 10-30 games just like kobe"

    That's about 33% shooting.

Pay attention dumb ass: when it comes to career games of shooting UNDER:

    35%: MJ 88 -- KB 207 (and counting)

    30%: MJ 41 -- KB 107 (and counting)

U really should be quiet and quit while you're ahead kid, because with your juvenile ignorant posts, you're only further EXPOSING & embarrassing kobe.

"jordan fans hate kobe so much"

No we hate idiot kobe fans (like U) who spew obnoxious, uninformed nonsense..

  • Uuuuuhhhh ooooohhhhn Scottie's back!!!!

  • doesn't anyone who guards Jordan get sick as well since he has the flu?? sooooooo wtf how could they let him play?

  • It's weird when you don't see something for over a decade and you completely forget about it, and once you see it again it's like you just saw it yesterday. Of course, I'm talking about Dennis Rodman's goofy picture in the starting lineups.

  • just because someone is the best of their era does not mean they are the best of all time.im talk to kobe and kobe fans

  • I didnt even know Jordan played 2 Flu Games

  • @jantjecool same here

  • sonics were so less fun to watch after the kemp-baker trade

  • DAMN THE JORDAN 13's he has on for this game are hella sexyy!!!!

  • is that doc rivers commentating?

  • @rainierito yeah...

  • Guess we can say MJ was just sick in this game.

  • @jedipudu Lol

  • Think About Paul Piece LOL.

  • freethrows all net from Jordan 1.18-1.34

  • if MIchael Jordan coach a NBA team , he can be better than Phil jackson

  • How old was jordan when he won his 6th championship..?

  • @SWAScoLeader 35...

  • what the fuck is rodman doing in that starting lineup picture?

  • No one can take his Throne baby! There is only one King and that is Michael Jordan.. Kick Lebron's Butt and Kobe's Face.. hahaha.

  • @strongties next time you want attention just kill yourself.

  • @jagemobe cocksucker next time u want a dick in ya mouf look to ya left

  • @strongties still going strong, eh?

  • @jagemobe dont look to ya right

  • Checking ticker scores at 3:52, the Nuggets were 2-31 at that time (check out their record on the score ticker). I guess my answer to "has anyone been as bad as the 09-10 Nets is yes up to this point of the season".

  • magic cut and thet stupid defender kept on grabbing him 6:05

  • Some great back door cuts by this Bulls team. But MJ is the best! Cut his heart out.

  • fuck kbe

  • MJ was automatic from the FT line. He hit shots in everbodys face. I didn't matter who was guarding him. He even made Gary Payton look silly on defense, and he scored 40 pts with flu symptoms. MJ is the GREATEST!

  • doc rivers a good coach not so good a commentator.

  • hes a better commentator than you will ever be...

  • i dont care abt the opinions of a samoan :)

  • fuk what u say faggot. how bout getting in the ring and il smash your fuken face. bet u wouldnt last 30seconds with me. fucken homo!!!

  • tough online. :S

  • fuck u and your racist comments faggot!!!

  • Can you have you show the continuance of the player introduction of Bulls of this match by all means?

  • Michael the Greatest

Kobe the best of his Era

  • @EvilZeroSc Kobe best in the end of his era. Make no mistake, when Vince and Tmac were relevant Kobe was third.. probably because of Shaq.

  • @mrblend

By that logic then Jordan is also the best in the end of his era....

  • @EvilZeroSc thats not logic at all. Since "The Arrival" game, MJ has been hailed by players and announcers that he is the best player in the game, and will be the greatest player of all time. And that was like what.... 1986 to the end of his career. Not quite the same with Kobe, so I'm not sure what logic your seeing. However, in the grand scheme of things you are correct in a way since we all look at things OVERALL.... i guess KOBE can be considered the best of his era.

  • @mrblend

Well, it nice that you give Michael a lot of respect....but dude don't try to take anything away from Kobe by saying the best in the "end" of his era....seriously who says that, that's my only point here

  • @mrblend Well the big difference is that Mj did amazing things when he first came in the league, whereas Kobe was being compared to MJ & was too young and immature and on the bench. So MJ earned his respect thru the game, Kb was just given the title based off of potential & not off of his accolades in the NBA. Mj was quoted as coming the leagued and embarassing it, Kobe was still on the bench due to inexperience & bad decision making on the court.

  • @EvilZeroSc Since 2003

  • dtto to dime w/ tha 13's...

  • He scores 40 pts, with flu like symptoms & with "NO" 3-ptrs LOL!!

How many of the 2-guards in the league today are that efficient at scoring?

    Not one of 'em..

  • Ummm Wade!

  • Sorry, just like kobe, he RELIES on it to score big in games..

  • @blackadam06 right now.. probably Wade. DeMar...but hes still learning.

  • @blackadam06 Not because i hate MJ...he is the best of his era and probabbly best there ever will be..

but i think kobe bryant can score like that...he did score 81 in a game(its pretty efficient)

  • @deking27

Why do U kobe fans keep trying to equate him with MJ, based on 1 game? That's an "isolated occurrence", and DOES NOT reflect what he CONSISTENTLY does on the offensive end of the court.

Cherry picking out 1 or a few of his "greatest games" to present as proof, is a GROSS misrepresentation of him..

  • @deking27

Kobe drives to the hoop LESS than MJ, CONSISTENTLY takes MORE 3ptrs & has LOWER FG%'s & scores LESS than MJ in the reg season, playoffs & finals. Not to mention over the last 8 yrs, he's taken MORE foul shots than MJ EVER HAS!

And with all of that said, he only has 2 scoring titles to show for it?!!

And U guys think he's the scorer MJ was, when he consistently only scores 25ppg on a mediocre 45% shooting?

This is what he CONSISTENTLY does..NO..there's a BIG difference between 'em!

  • @blackadam06 thats not true...kobe's scoring averages in points were always high when he started...so it wasnt just 1 game and one season he averaged about 35points so all his games were efficient scoring...

and i didn't try to compare them or equate kobe to jordan because they only played a few years together and yes..probabbly jordan is the best but i didn't like what you said: "How many of the 2-guards in the league today are that efficient at scoring?

    Not one of 'em.."

  • @deking27

"kobe's scoring averages in points were always high when he started"

Yeah, after the rules changed, which the league's own Exec VP ADMITS to favoring perimeter players..

And again, kobe consistently only shoots 45% year end & year out, and even WORSE than that when the playoffs begin.

    His track record PROVES it..

With just 5 more misses in this year's playoffs, he becomes the All Time leader in playoff missed shots..

Think about that for a second..

  • @blackadam06 ye he misses a lot..thats nothing new..but compared to all his made shots those are easilly ignore...and when the team really needs him hes one of the best clutch shooter in history (he missed clutch shots too) but that doesnt make him an inefficient scorer

  • @deking27

"compared to all his made shots those are easily ignore"

    That's the problem!

U kobe homers are ALWAYS trying to disregard his missed shots, which you're SUPPOSED to compare to the made ones, in order to get an ACCURATE picture of what he's TRULY done in those situations, which will tell U how effective he really is!

"that doesnt make him an inefficient scorer"

    Yes it does!

If by your own admission he "misses a lot of shots", that's the DEFINITION of being inefficient..

  • @blackadam06 Well can't reply with a comeback but everyone got his own opinion

  • @deking27

My comments aren't opinion based, it's a fact.

U cannot on one hand admit that he misses a lot of shots and then claim that this doesn't make him inefficient. That's a BLATANT contradiction, and defies ALL logic, reason & common sense.

  • @blackadam06 everyone misses shots...and no kobe isnt inefficient in scoring because he makes a lot of shots too...he's probabbly not the best scoring champion in history but he's a good scorer and just like i said his misses don't make a difference to him coz he scores a lot...

I wish to end this coz this is an MJ vid not kobe.

  • @deking27

Are U like the rest of these kobe homers who just ignore facts that don't agree with what U wanna believe about him?

Yes everyone misses, but that's not the point! When comparing people to determine who's "more efficient", the guy who consistently misses MORE shots per game is the less efficient player..period!! And his misses DOES make a damn difference, but it speaks to how frequently he's able to put the ball in the hole!

  • @deking27

He consistently only makes 45% of his shots, which means he consistently MISSES 55% of the time! That means he doesn't even make HALF of his shots on a consistent basis!

    That's NOT efficient!

He became the All Time leader for the most missed playoffs shots in history this season, and has taken WELL over 20,000 career shots, but hasn't even made 10,000 of 'em!

U kobe fans REALLY need to learn how to deal with the facts of the matter, and stop deluding yourself about him as a shooter

  • @blackadam06 so to you efficiency is all about misses and not about the makes...and kobe is not as efficient as jordan.i could see that but there are players as efficient or (almost) and i think kobe is one of em and by the way i am not a kobe homer i just admire the guy

  • @deking27

Efficiency is about BOTH makes & misses. I don't know why this is SO DIFFICULT for kobe's fans to understand..SMH

And in a comparison (which is what the initial topic was about), he CONSISTENTLY MISSES more shots than he makes when compared to MJ.

Kobe has taken WELL OVER 20,000 career shots, yet he hasn't even made AT LEAST 10,000 of 'em (half) in 15 yrs of play, and isn't even CLOSE to doing so until sometime around 2013...

Think about that for a second..

  • @blackadam06 ok i know jordan is better and probabbly the best but you can't say kobe isnt efficient maybe not as efficient but he's still one of the best to ever play.

  • @deking27

"you can't say kobe isnt efficient"

What part of this are U not getting?

Dude..do U not understand what the meaning of the word efficient is? No one's questioning if he's one of the best to ever do it, but U CLEARLY either

    A) don't comprehend the concept of efficiency

    B) or are U just playing the dumb role right now?

He IS NOT an efficient player!

Go check his PER (player efficiency ratings)...SMH

  • @blackadam06 ok its useless trying to reason with you...KOBE ISNT EFFICIENT...hope you're happy now watch the vid again and again and admire jordan and diss nobody

  • @deking27

There's no reasoning to be done on the matter. It is what it is.

Why do U kobe fan-boys rage against the facts so damn much?

    It's ridiculous!

That's like me trying to claim that Shaq's not a terrible FT shooter, when his career marks in this area CLEARLY disprove that notion, yet I keep saying: "to me, he's a good FT shooter" LOL!!

I'd look like a complete idiot (like U are right now) trying to insist otherwise, when the facts CLEARLY don't validate my position on the matter..

  • @blackadam06 Oh c'mon dont go to those extremes LOL.The facts are the facts and yeah they say a lot but they dont say everything.

  • @deking27

"The facts are the facts and yeah they say a lot but they don't say everything"

    What?!!

Hmmm...I guess it's like that commercial says: "it makes sense if U don't think about it" LOL!!

  • @blackadam06 "it makes sense if U don't think about it"

exactly what i wanted to say..you didn't think about my comment.or else you would realise that i meant that the facts dont mention how many clutch shots bryant has taken and how many times his team was down and he led the team to a victory.

  • Comment removed

  • @blackadam06 ok so if kobe isnt efficient to you what about lebron? you can't say that the guy misses a lot too.his career fg perctg is almost as good as jordan's . NOTICE: i didn't say he's better i said he's efficient and like i just said i dont want to change this vid into kobe/lebron...watch the vid and admire jordan

  • @deking27

LBJ consistently shoots in 47-49% from the field, which is VERY efficient for a perimeter player..

Kobe however consistently shoots 45% (mediocre) or LOWER from season to season.

Kobe's a VOLUME shooter/scorer, meaning it takes him a TON of shots just to get his pts. Those kinda players are NEVER efficient at all...ask A.I.

  • @blackadam06 Not efficient to you and to anybody else but for me who can see the good side of each and every player it is.Call me an ignorant and that i dont know anything but thats what i think

  • @deking27

    "Call me ignorant"

Ok then, you're ignorant, because U CLEARLY keep trying to substitute what U want to "think" about him in this regards, for what he's actually DONE & consistently does..

Anyone who tries to call someone who just became the All Time leader in missed playoffs shots, has TWICE set the record for the most missed shots in Finals history, and consistently misses 55% of the time (career 45% FG%), an "efficient" player, is CLEARLY ignorant LOL!!

  • @blackadam06 I think it'd be safe to say that there won't be another Jordan for awhile if at all. Consider all his highest scoring games over 40 and most of those times the Bulls would still only win by a couple points. I would argue that the 80s and 90s was definitely the golden era of the NBA and I would like to think most would agree

    :)

  • hello 13's..............

  • yeeeeeeee man and I say why don't ginobilli guarding kobe bryant ?????????????????because ginobilli is the better player then kobe in every part my man in just every maybe not atraction

  • You are joking right? Ginobili? Sorry there is not merit to that position whatsover.

  • your a joke if you really think manu is better than kobe

    manu<kobe<MJ

  • Why the hell is Hersey Hawkins guarding MJ and not Payton?

  • Various season that I came up with this defensive assignment. Just some discussion here. MJ in 98 was more a jump shooter and back up turn around fadaway shooter, so Payton could not play him at all at the post with MJ size advantage. Hawkins was at least taller able to pump. See MJ's turn around jumper at 7:13 on Payton. Payton could not guard him at all when MJ has his back to the basket.

  • pinoy? wtf? pinoy ka?

  • luc longley is kinda hot :)

  • Dat was the boriness 40pt game i ever have seen!MJ made it look so easy datz why he's the goat

  • when u get old, your immune system isn't what it used to be, plus its damn cold in chicago and lost of wind during the winter. I've worked by the lake a few times in the winter and it fucking sucks.

  • i also neva seen this 1, thanks, that gary u have to show respect cause he is a great defender

  • he dont look so sick i think he just had the first syntomas of flu .. a little headhache and body sore , when i get the flu i cant wake up from bed ... i cant imaginate playing a basketaball game jajaja but anyway he was so strong he played every single minute of each game

  • Did Michael ever have the flu more times in his life than June 1997 to 1998?!?!?

He had the flu in the '98 All Star Game too

  • I'm sure Dennis Rodman brought lots of germs to Chicago lol.

  • Nothing can stop him!

  • FE23, was this the game where Jordan and Pippen combined for a massive block on Payton on the fastbreak? It was either this game or the game in 1998 in Chicago (I know Doc Rivers was commentating, too). One of the best blocks I've ever seen.

  • cut,cut ,cut

  • thank you

  • GREAT

  • look how the bulls maintain their spacing within the triangle. what a great team that was.

  • They had excellent passers in the triangle and that's why they were so dominate with that offense

  • You know your a great shooter, when doc rivers says u have to make jordan drive instead shoot the fade away or jumper...that's not a smart move 10 years ago from 1998.

  • and well HE WAS SICK...

  • awesome game! thanks ForEmily23, love watching the Bulls from 96-98.

  • As always great game from the GOAT....thanks from Spain.

  • not bad

  • Michael to me was the greatest scorer ever. So little energy wasted in his scoring. He and Bird were phenomenal.

  • Dennis Rodman's picture when they show the lineups always cracks me up

  • fadeaway signature of the GOAT .

  • Oh yeah I remember this game! Thanks for posting... bring back memories of his greatness.

  • dwane wade travels on his fadeaway. jordans fadeaway is alot faster and he has more moves to go with his fadeaway.
