to the non believers, how do you explain this. when my father went on a missions trip to Haiti to play soccer, after the game they (his christian soccer team) asked if anyone wanted to hear about God. A family brought a teenager who was blind and was practicing witch craft. He gave his life to God and at that second could see, not just with his eyes but now more importantly his heart. But you may believe what you would like to, we have a God who gives you that chance.

There are alot of Christians who go to college, and people who study evolution that still believe in God. And you weren't told going to church for 21 years about spirtual warfare? Satan's greatest weapon is to convince you that he doesn't exist (that it's all just a "fairy tale"). There is actually a place designated for people want nothing to do with God, known as hell. Remember when you die (we all die) that it was your choice not to believe, not mine.
You think just because you went to church every Sunday (and Wednesday) that made you a Christian? @photolitherland I haven't followed this conversation at all but I think you know that you are asking a question that by its very nature cannot be answered. If God is, by definition, a supernatural/spiritual being then asking for physical natural evidence is nonsensical. It would be the equivalent of me asking someone to prove evolution exists by giving me an inward, spiritual sense of its truth. They are two different categories of knowledge itself.

But if you really need it I was at a prayer meeting one night and was asking for my girlfriends parents to come to church and get saved in the exact row i was sitting in, tuesday night her parents unexpectedly came and sat in the same row, and now her dad doesnt feel attacked by demons, and her mom has become alot closer to god.

When people have faith in God, then they trust God more, which makes the relationship stronger, so if there was no faith we would never get to know God as much as we do in this. Great band, good vocalist, awesome songs...but hella boring live. I saw them at DCLA and they were just standing up there. The only person who was animated was the drummer, I still think they're great...but i was very disappointed.
You may well say they just stood there, but saying that they have alot of Tech there now that they have. I know what you mean I saw them a month ago, I was a tad I don't know, but they were amazing, never the less. One of the Best Bands I've ever seen. @AmbientMW The non-believers are here searching for Christ to fill that void...even though they may not know it. It seems they are trying to convince themselves that they are stirring up trouble, but, in fact, they are hearing the Word while listening to worship music (if they're listening...which I have to say they are because they say they don't like the music). Praise God for his sacrifice on the cross of His Son Jesus to shed blood for our sins so that we could be made clean 2 be with Him!

to the non believers, how do you explain this. when my father went on a missions trip to Haiti to play soccer, after the game they (his christian soccer team) asked if anyone wanted to hear about God. A family brought a teenager who was blind and was practicing witch craft. He gave his life to God and at that second could see, not just with his eyes but now more importantly his heart. But you may believe what you would like to, we have a God who gives you that chance.

Is this the forum for spreading your beliefs? Seems more like so-called "Christians" have mistreated you, yet, you find yourself here listening to praise & worship, so I have to believe there's a void in your life that no one can fill except Jesus, & that's why you keep coming back here. Jesus made claims & backed them up by miracles, including raising Himself from the dead..no one else has done that, so I choose to follow Him. In addition, He loves all of us, but I know you will believe what you want unless God reveals Himself to you...If you were churched that long and didn't get it, I question your church

Satan's greatest weapon is to convince you that he doesn't exist (that it's all just a "fairy tale"). There is actually a place designated for people want nothing to do with God, known as hell. You think just because you went to church every Sunday (and Wednesday) that made you a Christian? Going to church is a small fraction of the Christian walk, where a huge chunk is reading the bible, prayer, and your relationship with Jesus. I went to University of Maryland an atheist (led astray by a professor I looked up to at community college) studying computer science and math, and discovered that Jesus is the way, truth, and the life.

@photolitherland However, there are plenty of philosophical, logical, moral, experiential/existential and generally rational reasons to believe that the Christian God is real. But if you exclude all of these and ask for hard physical or scientifically verifiable proof then you are begging the question, assuming your own answer by excluding the types of evidence that actually exist. There are scientific ARGUMENTS for God, but since God normally works through means they are not definitive.

@photolitherland I haven't followed this conversation at all but I think you know that you are asking a question that by its very nature cannot be answered. If God is, by definition, a supernatural/spiritual being then asking for physical natural evidence is nonsensical. It would be the equivalent of me asking someone to prove evolution exists by giving me an inward, spiritual sense of its truth. They are two different categories of knowledge itself.

@photolitherland dude, im not going to sit here and chit chat about it, I told you, I'll respect you for what you believe, but still man you have to give things a try... But if you really need it I was at a prayer meeting one night and was asking for my girlfriends parents to come to church and get saved in the exact row i was sitting in, tuesday night her parents unexpectedly came and sat in the same row, and now her dad doesnt feel attacked by demons, and her mom has become alot closer to god.

@photolitherland If there was 100% proof then there would be no need for faith dude. When people have faith in God, then they trust God more, which makes the relationship stronger, so if there was no faith we would never get to know God as much as we do in this. And as for the wind thing, some of us can feel God, see him when he does good works, etc. ;)

it's a crowdster (anderson) that was made specifically for David Crowder and was named after him since David changed his name to David Crowder since he brings in a crowd when he plays in the name of the Lord :) :) :).
Hence it's a guitar named after him. Also the two electric guitarist's main guitars used are andersons as well

2. To believe in any religion is to accept thought that is not within our rationality. It is impossible for anything in our world to be infinite. So having said that, how do we come up with the idea of an infinite deity? Something that is finite cannot create something that is infinite. And since the finite cannot create the infinite, then it cannot understand it through its rational thought. Therefore the finite is irrational for believing in something which he cannot sense. @ninegray- I didn't see it as a belittling, denouncing, nor being an expert. Even a slight look at them, and it's evident that the basis of those different beliefs begins with within one's self, and self-strength. Christianity contends that Christ is God and strength comes from His spirit only, and what He did for the world. I think that's all Chrispy was stating. Forgiveness and understanding is the common thread. Taking it personally is and attacking someone is contrary all of those teachings.

Instead of looking like Billy Graham, he would look more like Willie Nelson !!! Several scriptures come to mind here. Listen what Isaiah says about Jesus: Isa 53:2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

David Crowder Band Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was blessed to see them in concert and their immense piety moved me and fortified my faith in Christ in a way I thought unimaginable. Catholics love this song and we sing it at youth masses:)

I know what you mean I saw them a month ago, I was a tad I don't know, but they were amazing, never the less. One of the Best Bands I've ever seen. Besides They Shouldn't be necessarily be moving around a lot, after it all it really isn't meant to be uplifting themselves, but they are uplifting God. They also helping us by playing the Music, to help us to worship him too!

Are we going to sit here and judge other people about their religion or are we going to embrace them like HE would've done?
