@CABabc12345 well, (as an agnostic) there has to be some creator, but you cannot describe it, otherwise it becomes limited and therefore not an ultimate being. for example, if you say "god is good" then you are limiting an unlimited being. but there has to be some creator at the same time. so there must be an unmoved mover of the universe, which includes everything if it is indeed unlimited (it cant not be everything or it becomes limited), but it cannot be a god of any religion that describes

But I really want you to consider this (not some sarcastic statement but something you should really ask yourself): if the only way we can exist is by being created then god ,or the creator, can only exist if he/she/it was created and who created that creator (and so on). I would love to get a logical answer from you and I really mean it.

@CABabc12345 Further more, life did not begin at any one point in time, its just more practical to say that it started at 'x' than any other point, just as a creator 'creating life' wouldn't begin life, but would himself be created and be part of the casuality that is 'life' itself. Life in the broadest sense is simply The universe itself.

That's the thing about the scientific way of trying to find how everything was made to be. If nothing is known then instead of jumping to join other theories and just sticking with them because you have nothing better, you work at your own theory. If it's wrong then you move on to a new one and so on. It's all about progression :D

Dewey figured out a great moral on his own (be kind to people because it's the right thing to do, not because God is threatening you)! But the teacher's mind is so warped by religion that she thinks he came to a bad conclusion because he isn't spouting religious propaganda.
