@ResidentAk I totally agree with you. Why is everyone so excited about the 3D camera?  It's quite likely that this feature will only be featured in this one area of the city, since none of the other screen caps we've gotten appear to have it.

I'm going to buy the game regardless, but I wish Nintendo had ditched this whole 3D thing. It just looks sloppy, and they're wasting programming space they could have filled with more awesome Pokemon!

Diamond had that appeal to me as well first time I played it but after like 5 minutes it weared off and I realized it was still the same old pokemon game with just a little fancier visuals :/

Hopefully they keep their promise with this one and try something innovative gameplay wise in addition to slightly updating the visuals!

It took close to a decade (and three generations, not to mention COUNTLESS games) to come up with actual backdrops in battles (as opposed to that lifeless gradient crap), and it STILL looks worse than the backdrops in Telefang 2, a Japan-only GBA monster-collecting RPG similar to Pokémon that was released in 2002, EIGHT YEARS EARLIER, and before Ruby/Sapphire.
