@ReisNightmare I think Gintoki could be comparable to Onizuka. They're both lazy, vulgar (Onizuka being more vulgar), and can kick so much ass. In the past they fought battles, and in the present they settle down and chill with (seemingly) mundane jobs (but the past never leaves you D8). While Gintoki's quips are funny as hell Onizuka's actions are louder than words. (..or about the same loudness. GTO!!) Though one seems to have better luck with the ladies. It must be the perm. 8P
Vegeta would have been one of mine. Not too many ppl would put their very existence on the line to save the Universe, while getting their ass handed to them by a kid Majin. That takes ballz(pun intended). Hiei on the other hand is cool, but not my top 20. Same for Afro, and I wasn't all that into Roy or FMA for that matter. Love that Spike took your # 1. He's has no powers(badass normal), gets beat up a few times but comes back FTW. Didn't know half the guys in this countdown, but nice top 20.

JUST one small thing i think that by having the rule Only 1 person per show severly limited your countdown like Light and L, or Spike and Vicious cuz lets face it Vicious is to cool for school, Ladd Russo and Claire, i really like your reviews and really about to start my own anime review line

You just CAN'T make a "Top 20 Epically Cool Anime Characters" without Vegeta or some Dragon Ball character. I mean Vegeta is so cool and badass that he became popular almost as chuck norris on the net but he is not even in top 20?! WTF?! Dragon ball is also much older than some other shows on the list and Vegeta is original. The list is cool but without any DB character not good!
Very good list. A few things I disagree with, but for the most part I loved it.

I love how people cant even just give you a pat on the back for your long and hard work and have to correct you for every difference you share. Personally i like your countdown and it got me to watch a whole lot of anime i never saw or had much interest in watching. Do i think you could have put a few people in that you didnt? Yeah i guess. Can i argue with who is on the list? Nope. I think people are just but hurt because you didnt put their personal fav on there.

Goku's a protagonist not the "cool" character of the show.
He might be a great character to you, but he falls down on several aspects. Frankly as far as looks go he the bland hero guy... sure he gets the super hair but so does everyone else. Being cool means keeping a cool disposition and lets face it, when hes not screaming power out of the air hes the dumb hero guy

Thing that makes this show are villains. They are all stronger than Spikes crew. Genius Chessmaster Hex, immortal 10 years old boy, and my favorite Mad Pierrot. They didnt make mistakes, they arent weaker or stupid but he beats them despite the odds.
But the thing that makes Spike on top of this list is Vicious. He is villain that you see and know nobody can touch him, you know he is on different level, you KNOW Spike will die from his hand. And Spike went there nevertheless, without fear.

Not related to the video but just wondering if you are watching One Piece? I know you said your not reviewing any unfinished animes such as One Piece but I feel you can fix its bad reputation if you review the first half. It is a great anime but I feel alot of people dont give it a go considering how it is dissed for its bad art and named a childrens show. I really believe that its themes are more deep than it seems and is enjoyed greatly by adults as much as it does for childen.

Ah, one other mention. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't watched Fate/Zero, and at the same time, I'm a little ticked. Rider is so epically cool by these standards that even the best of anime fans wished that they had never made a Top Ten Cool Characters list in the first place. No offense, of course.

Thing that makes this show are villains. They are all stronger than Spikes crew. Genius Chessmaster Hex, immortal 10 years old boy, and my favorite Mad Pierrot. They didnt make mistakes, they arent weaker or stupid but he beats them despite the odds.
But the thing that makes Spike on top of this list is Vicious. He is villain that you see and know nobody can touch him, you know he is on different level, you KNOW Spike will die from his hand. And Spike went there nevertheless, without fear.

Not related to the video but just wondering if you are watching One Piece? I know you said your not reviewing any unfinished animes such as One Piece but I feel you can fix its bad reputation if you review the first half. It is a great anime but I feel alot of people dont give it a go considering how it is dissed for its bad art and named a childrens show. I really believe that its themes are more deep than it seems and is enjoyed greatly by adults as much as it does for childen.

Reborn from KHR: A kickass 5-year old wearing a mafia suit. He is wise, strong, intelligent and no one(not even Hibari) can fuck with him.I'd only put him down because he doesn't do as much as most of the other characters.
Gildarts from Fairytail:Funny, charismatic, and wise.When he gets serious, shit hits the fan. when he shows up, you know it's time for an ass whooping.I'd put him down due to lack of screentime.

Ah, one other mention. I wouldn't be surprised if you haven't watched Fate/Zero, and at the same time, I'm a little ticked. Rider is so epically cool by these standards that even the best of anime fans wished that they had never made a Top Ten Cool Characters list in the first place. No offense, of course.
