  • are you sure your ferret is well? mine was doing something like this when he first started getting ill, and he would bob his head slightly , over time it progresse d into something much worse-see my 'sick ferret' vid,

  • @Shewolfen aww I just watched your sick ferret. I hope he gets better! This video is old & Jester has since passed on (years after I took this). It could have been early insulonoma because he did develop that late in life. I hope your weasel gets better!

  • @suelu23 Its A Ferret, Not A Weasle

  • My ferret has done that before. Sleep much? lol

  • xD That was actually pretty funny.

Oh God, I'm bored. But it's still funny.

  • Haha...very funny :P When our furballs do that, we call it "Dead Sheep"...I don't know why...When they just go completely flat on the floor!

  • wait for what?

  • My ferrets do that when they get frustrated if we won't let them get into certain things. They do it when they wanna go back in their cage too but they're both healthy ^_^

  • hes like bored bored bored bored bored bored OH LOOK AT THAT I GOING THERE

  • hahah speed bump as i call mine when they do that.

  • Please take this down.

  • Are you sure your ferret is well? His eyes look sort of droopy and the way he just lies there is not a good sign. I would have him checked by a vet who has knowledge about ferrets just to be sure.

  • yeah he was just bored I think! That video was taken a year ago & he's fine. I appreciate your concern- he's been to the vet a lot recently because his new baby brother gave him the "greenies." But he's fine now!

  • Nice that you weren't offended and realized I am just a concerned ferret servant. : )

Have you heard about Helicobacter? It is common in ferrets and most likely aggravated by stress. If you like to know more, please email me. It is often difficlut to tell if ferrets are getting along, even if they sleep together and don't fight. There shouldn't be more than 1 - 2 years age differnce in your ferrets.

  • Green feces can be a sign that a ferret is stressed. When the food passes through the digestive system too quickly ... the green bile passes through the intestines unchanged. It doesn't have time to be broken down. So, you see it in the end. ; )

  • Yeah, he'd been stressed because his best friend, my ferret of 8 years, had died. But after that, he definitely got the greenie virus from the new weasel. He's doing much better now, after huge vet bills, and is getting spoiled by hand-feeding! Ferrets are so sensitive, aren't they? Anyway, thanks for the tips!

  • wait for what??

  • that's what I was wondering! What was he thinking? Silly weasel- sorry not the best video though, it was sort of a joke for my friend...
