is there a big difference between connecting the camera to the monitor with the hdmi and the rca cables??

when using this monitor with a canon 5D mark ii seems that in live mode the aspect ratio is smashed... then when in record mode seems to be stretched anyone know why or how to fix that?? so that it is true?

When you really think about it, isn't it crazy that a 26 inch ASUS 1080p monitor costs half of what this 7 inch video monitor does? Video equipment always costs so much more than what it's actual value is. Just an observation.

If you are using the 5D the delay on the monitor is about 8 seconds give or take a few. If you are using the 7d its not as long of a delay but that is normal.

I like the montor but I find that every time I hit record the display goes black for about a second

can't you plug a p-tap cable to this monitor and attach it to an anton bauer battery or something similar to add more battery life?

@wisemlp I am not sure what the voltage is but I think they have other battery back options.
