where to find a tabla which does not use animal skin? i hope to learn but need one which is synthetic as i am vegan

I've never come across a tabla set that doesn't use animal skin, perhaps you should consider another Indian drum that you can source with a synthetic head (and other parts) such as a mrdanga. Other than that, you could approach one of the manufacturers of the synthetic Indian drums to see if they'd consider creating a synthetic tabla for you.
