JAMAS, suena muy bien y a la final es eso lo que importa, las "técnicas" son solo una manera estándar y estudiada de hacer las cosas pero no significa que sea la única forma o la correcta, es simplemente la tradicional, tal vez el 500 años esta sea la evolución de esa que tu llamas "técnica" ;) deja de criticar y disfruta el sonido...

@handeltreiben puede sonar bien pero si no tienes la tecnica adecuada te limita bastante para seguir adelante. .. en fin si tocas flamenco lo sabras en cuanto tenga que hacer un picado rapido un rasgeo flamenco un picado un tremolo o arpegio un alzapua pues no va a salir y todo el flamenco se basa en esas tecnicas,si no las dominas no tocas flamenco tocas notas de flamenco como si fuera una electrica o una clasica ...enfin que no.

@cmonutube No, but you will never get that sound if you dont play with your nails. So... in the end the answer is YES, you need long nails to sound and play like that. I HATE long nails, but I have them and take care of them to play flamenco...

@cmonutube I didnt know about fingerpicks, only about the thumb ones. I found that they are made of plastic and metal...To play flamenco the right choice would be plastic but the sound would not be good I think. It sucks, but the truth is that there is nothing like your own nails. I will try them anyway, I dont like to feel like a girl(no offense to girls!) when it comes to my nails... :P ( ie: Hey! You broke my nail! Meanie!)

This is very beautiful. Only problem I have with this... Why does he end this piece by cutting off the video in what seems like the middle of the best part of the piece? This is such a perfect example of Spanish guitar, and then the movie just stops. Guess what you deem as perfect playing can't be paired with perfect video. Really wish he would post another vid of him playing this, only all the way through.

@tastefulphrasing From my experience flamenco players generally have a lot of versatility, especially as they under go particularly strenuous rhythm study but chose to play the style they prefer most more often. Certainly when referring to myself, i studied flamenco from when i was 13 until i was 18 and since then have moved into playing in a jazz band. So I understand why you think my comment was harsh but please try not to stereotype us all into the "limited style" bracket.

@aquababie07 Oh yes, please forgive me for maybe having a misconstrued meaning, this is definitely art and a very good performance on the whole, but based on the true flamenco/spanish classical guitar masters his technique doesn't reflect what would be most beneficial to the overall sound. All the strings on this classical are nylon, just the thicker ones have nylon core, but they are all nylon....In my opinion they have a more natural and pleasing sound than steel.
