@BennyandtheDRUMMER this was like the funniest thing I've read for a long time! how come you consider propagandhi (I repeat: Propagandhi) as poppunk? I suggest you first get some background knowledge about punkrock

wow, there are people doing terrible factory farming practices out there and you choose to make fun of sandor katz? oh, and this song sucks, too, by the way.
If you know one tiny iota about this band you would know that they talk a lot about factory farming. This song just uses Sandors own logic. He should enjoy it. It's obviously hyperbole.
Their a Canadian punk band from Manitoba , known for supporting vegan-ism and animal liberation, also for taking a stand against human rights, their good shit! not to mention their tunes are fuckin' awesome
Great song, a lot think this song pushed the limits but the band is showing that once replacing an animal with Sandor Katz, suddenly everyone goes crazy but didn't mind much when it was just about animals being killed which shows how inhumane killing animals in the ways expressed in Sandor Katz book really is
The song is satire. In his book sandor Katz says you can only truly understand a respect an animal by killing it. Etc. THe lyrics are essential a paraphrase of the chapter. So to show the lunacy they they make the chapter about him.
lol. the more than half the song is an exact quote from sandor katz infact everything up until "a rational so moronic it defies belief" is sandor katz prose.
This is from Wiki, so it may or may not be totally accurate.
"He was the subject of the song Human(e) Meat (The Flensing of Sandor Katz) by punk rock band Propagandhi, a satirical vegan response to the "Vegetarian Ethics and Humane Meat" chapter of Katz's book The Revolution Will Not Be Microwaved."
I guess Sandor Katz wrote a book and in some repect making light of humanely killing animals, apparently the band didn;t take kindly to this thought, hence the killing of Sandor Katz and the band being vegans
This song is about Sandor Katz, and says it directly in the title. Michael Pollan is quoted and told that he is next on their list of humans to consume.
@Chairsss "Reminds me a little of Lawrence Arms." HAHA, WHAT
That band can be OK, despite how superior The Broadways and The Honor System were, but I can't believe anyone could find a way to liken them to Propagandhi.
Is this band vegan? Awesomeeee. I am too. :DDD

It's because they oppose the current system, which systematically oppresses everything it claims to uphold.
