  • thats my surround system i changed the front speakers to the wharfedale diamond take a look at that if u can pls tks ;)

  • you have reciver not amplifier... if you want to get the maximum sound quality u need a good stereo amplifier.

  • i have a 5.1 amplifier but no bass comes out from my diamond 9.6 ...why not ??pls reply

  • @BrandonAttarDbran you have your bass set to come out of the subwoofer, set your bass out to "front speakers","both", "all" or something like that in your amp settings.

  • @fabiuh991 i dont have any settings in my amp thats why im asking :( anything else i can do ?its like i bought them for nothing :(i want to hear some bass from them

  • @BrandonAttarDbran there will be a seting just gota dig deep in your amp

  • @BrandonAttarDbran

If no bass comes out of the speaker there are 2 posibilities:

    - Biwireing speaker conenctors are missing or not tighten to make contact (this connects the sub-woofer driver to the rest of the drivers)

-The receiver cannot (or is set not to) amplify low frequencies. Maybe it has an OSD (On screen display) to connect it to a monitor and see its menu. It can be a high pass filter set or speakers set to small instead of large(small is for satellite speakers - not to damage them).

  • If Nad perfect bass then try LM3886

  • Love the way they move the air.

  • Just bough one of these diamond subs from wharfedale. I sent it back the same day. I couldnt take it. Got monitor audio instead.

  • GENELEC PEOPLE GENELEC.

  • how do these compare to wharfedale valdus 500's

i know these are meant to be more musical but the valdus's are much louder (3x 8in drivers)

do these go really loud and how much difference will i notice in quality between the speakers

basically are they worth the upgrade or should i wait until i can afford something higher brow

  • @iloveaxxo The Diamond 9.6 are in a complete different league. The Valdus 500 are real budget speakers. Cheap quality, bad finish many problems with the Valdus range. Trust me, get a pair of 9.6 and you will be a happy man.

  • @Arcenon thanks for the input, for now i have decided to stick with the valdus 500's as I am going to university next year and i dont want a pair of 9.6's to be damaged. At the sound levels I use the valdus probably sound better anyway (parties/dj use)

I am sure when I grow up I will purchase something more refined, hey maybe the 11.6 will be out by the time i graduate.

  • @Arcenon

or better crystal cr-40 , the best 16cm drivers and nice desgin, and cheap
