....At what resolution and at what detail settting could I run on high?

and could anyone tell me which processor would be better Q9000 or P9600...I dont' care about battery life all about performance

That was nice, I am saving for the GTX 295 right now, almost have enough for it...Later on in year, I am buying another ine to go along with it...Right now All I got is an old Geforce 7950 GX2 card...It does ok,not what I like though.Still play most anything,just not at those kinda settings.

Dont spend money on the gtx295, w8 for the gt300 dx11 cards, gtx295 is just a patch to fight against the dual gpu 4870x2.

ok,Thanx..didnt know that was debuting...But then again,I am still on windows XP Pro, with Direct X 9.0c...Only Vista Supports all that.I am not ready to move to Vista,it still has wayy TOOOOOO many compatibility issues,lots and LOTS of software still doesn't work on it yet..I have too much I am not willing to lose yet...But,I will still keep that in mind based on performance and everything.BTW, AWESOME monitor,I have Samsung 22" 226BW that is kinda nice,certainly isnt top of the line.

I have vista and i must say from the day i got it i never had 1 problem with compatiblility or anything.

have you tried playing COD 2 or 4?? Or other games? My next door neighbor has Vista, and can't play any older game that he had on XP pro.None of them work..

no,its legit...It asks for permission to run software,we allow it, and set administrator privilages and everything,it just sets there looking at us....Eyes all glazed over,and then it says, WTF you want me to do...LMAO ,metaphorically speaking..lol

as a matter of fact I have both and they work with not 1 bug. Maybe your freinds computer cant handle it becuase vista wants more resources than xp.

Well... this may be true but if we should wait for the gtx300 why not wait for a gtx that supports DirectX 12 lol..
