  • Hum like dad like daughter. King and queen of warmongering

  • Ms Liz Cheeny - do you think terrorism is NOT a crime? Shame on you, Bill Kristol. The intent of the framers of the constitution was VERY clear and both of you know that. Trashing our constitution is not "Keeping America Safe,"

  • @MickeyYahoo Do you not believe we are at war? The intent of the framers of the Constitution was very clear, the political branches fight our wars and the courts play no role.

  • @nnjhansen War? With whom? The "Terrorists" As far as I can tell, there is no clear definition for that term. The informal definitionss have the nasty characteristic of including many of our "friends." Will we be labelling people "extremists" next and imprisoning them without trials? How about "fabian socialists"? Or maybe "birther"?

  • @MickeyYahoo The respective authorizations for the use of force passed by Congress lay out who we are at war with. If you are unclear, read them.

  • "not sure the evidence will hold up to convict..."

Well then maybe they shouldn't be convicted in a military tribunal, either, ya moron!

Liz Cheney is afraid that defendants may be guilty or innocent will have a "public platform" where they can exercise free speech.

We should start learning from history and stop running from our values enough to give these defendants fair trials. If we value our institutions, then we should be confident that all guilty defendants will be convicted.

  • Lizzie is just looking to protect her Daddy. God forbid the public were made aware of all the prisoners that were tortured to death. Prisoners that weren't even charged with a crime. This is what happens when you pay a bunch of Desert-Rat Mercs to find terrorists - they bring ya innocent farmers and family men you can't charge. I guess that's why the Cheney gang threw those rights out the window too. No charge! No trial! Just kill them in your Kangaroo court, right Liz? Hide it from the public.

  • I only comment to remind ppl....that this was talked about not long ago.

  • If you can't even get his history right... what makes you think that you KNOW he DIDN'T invent war for profit? You don't even know what job he had when, what makes you an expert on this policies?

You had a month to read up on it, but you'd rather NOT and just make stupid comments. I mean, you don't realize that 2000 is after 1995?

    Sounds right - you're a perfect example...

"Oh, I vote Republican becasue I'm patriotic, I want to bend over and get screwed"

    READ>>MF>>READ!

  • oh, yeah... we should sure listen to one of the big brains behind invading Iraq, wm. kristol... and... I forgot what a great legal mind he is. Can this moron... leave the scene soon enough? Probably not until American looks like the beginning of the "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich". liz cheney... don't get me started! liz... ITS NOT A WAR!!! ITS NOT A WAR!!!!! IT IS NOTHING LIKE A WAR!!! Treating it like a war does NOTHING but give our enemies exactly what they want... jihad!!!

  • Guff:

You don't have to look it up so you call facts fiction. Again, that's my point.

This is the 6th time, lets see if it works:

1991 Secratary of Defense, HIRED KBR

    1995 - 2000 CEO of Halliburton.

    2000 VP.

    I I know - it's hard, I'll stick with it. I have Hope.

If you wanna call simple facts any 5th grader could look up online ....lies....I'm gonna call you a Conservative and thank you for proving my point.

  • NoGuff is either feigning stupidity just to fuck with you or he really is thick as a brick. Wtih these Republicans, the distinction is not worth examining. The result is the same.

  • "NoGuff is either feigning stupidity just to fuck with you or he really is thick as a brick"

--So you're also someone who believes Cheney was CEO of Haliburton and VP at the same time? Because that's what HFPN is saying.

So how did he do it, did he work part time at Haliburton, then drive to his office after lunch every day? I'd really like to know.

Or am I just "thick as a brick" for accepting as fact what everyone else in the world also accepts?

  • Yes, you are ""thick as a brick",

6x I explained, just to see if you know how to read a calendar:

1991 Secratary of Defense, HIRED KBR

    1995 - 2000 CEO of Halliburton.

    2000 - 2008 VP

If you can't read that simple bit of fact - I'll call you Cponservative.

You could LOOK IT UP! He left Halliburton in 2000 and became VP. You see... 1995, '96, 97, 98 & '99 are BEFORE 2000. It's hard, I know.

Try a bit, it's important. We know this stuff out here in reality.

  • @ NoGuff:

Look, I am not going to get into discussing this with you BUT:

He never said that Cheney was Ceo of Haliburton and VP at the same time. Why the hell are you saying that he said that. He was totally unambiguous about the timeline-REPEATEDLY. READ and try to understand what he actually said instead of assuming HE is the stupid one.

  • I believe he did. Even if he didn't, that's what I got from his messages. And when I tried to correct him by saying he wasn't, he said I was wrong about that, many times in fact. 90% of the messages we've exchanged were in contention of that very issue. YET... according to you, I'm the one in error here.

  • "This is the 6th time, lets see if it works:

1991 Secratary of Defense, HIRED KBR

    1995 - 2000 CEO of Halliburton.

    2000 VP"

--And this is the 6th time for you: He wasn't CEO of Haliburton ---and--- VP at the same time.

I really can't understand who that fact doesn't register in that pointy little head of yours. I mean, it's beyond retarded to refute known facts. It's proof of insanity.

  • No Guff - I know more about what you support than you do.

As A Christian, and a human with a working brain - I can see that it is pure Corporatism.

  • Oh, sorry Guff, you didn't know he was Secretary of Defense in 1991 during Bush 1 for the Kuwait war. That was when he contracted KBR.

In 1995 he became CEO of Halliburton, in 2000 VP w/ Bush.

See, you support things you have no idea about.

  • "he was Secretary of Defense in 1991 during Bush 1 for the Kuwait war. That was when he contracted KBR.

In 1995 he became CEO of Halliburton, in 2000 VP w/ Bush"

--And so all of this happened at the same time, huh? While he was Vice President AND CEO of Haliburton.

    I got it now.

  • You just think this is fun :) Me, too!

I'm trying to see how many times I can explain a simple time table before you can understand it.

1991, when he HIRED KBR, he was Secratary of Defense.

1995 - 2000 he was CEO of Halliburton.

    2000 VP.

I had 1 mistake in my posts, I said VP in 1991,wrong, Sec. Of Defense. That could have mixed you up. You could just look it up.

All fact, don't support it if you can't cite it!

  • "I'm trying to see how many times I can explain a simple time table before you can understand it"

--And I'm waiting for the time when you realize you're making bullshit out of erroneous facts and your hatred.

"That could have mixed you up. You could just look it up"

    --I don't have to.

So now you're saying he was CEO of Haliburton white he was Sec. of Defense & Vice President?

    Try again, nimrod.

"I know more about what you support than you do"

--How, when you keep getting it wrong?

  • You don't have to look it up so you call facts fiction.

  • Neocons like Kristol are terrified that the trials will expose the war crimes of the Bushee Chickenhawks

When their lies about "nukular' weapons in Iraq were exposed, The Bushees tortured prisoners to try to get them to falsely confess to a connection between Iraq and 9-11.

  • OK, Hope is half asleep, (and still can shoot you with fact)....

It was NOT Mr. Atlas who was erroneous - it was Mr. Noguff....

Mr. Atlas appears a patriot after my own heart :) Your "How did the party of..." comment was so right on! Trod on!

  • AS CEO of Halliburton, dick: created 140 offshore tax havens to rip off $160 mill in taxes. One year they got a REBATE, instead of paying 12 million in taxes. He sold pulse nutron generators to Libya, against embargo, (paid a 3 Million fine) sold supplies to Iraq and Iran, though illigal, overcharged the government for work done by $8 million.

WHAT has PELOSI done that compares with that? THAT is just the tip of the dick... check my channel, if you want to know tha Truth!

    Fox= Fact is Fiction!

  • "WHAT has PELOSI done that compares with that?"

--Pelosi, Feistein, and Boxer (gee, they're all from San Francisco, whaddyaknow!) all create and vote on laws which directly affect business dealings they or their husbands are directly involved in. And they'be been doing so since they've been in Congress.

Cheney resigned from his job when he became VP.

So, big difference. Whether you like to agree with it or not.

  • So..Pelosi exploits her influence?

Cheney became CEO of Halliburton, they went from 77th to 18th on the Pentagons Supplier list.Cheney was CEO of Halliburton at the time of the criminal activity I quoted.

    Does warmaking for profit compare?

Do you get that? It's murder.

    Yea, big difference.

Tax evasion, Felony Sales to Iran, Torture, 3 Trillion $ war in the wrong country, 200,000 dead..

Amazes me you had the guts to write.

  • "Cheney became CEO of Halliburton, they went from 77th to 18th on the Pentagons Supplier list"

--Excuse me, WHILE he was VP? You don't seem to understand the difference between being a public official and steering govt contracts toward your companies, and a private citizen doing business. But, you're a Liberal, so reason, sense, & facts aren't in your vocabulary.

"at the time of the criminal activity"

--So, no indictments or arrests, huh?

  • "Does warmaking for profit compare?"

    --Got any examples?

"Tax evasion, Felony Sales to Iran, Torture, 3 Trillion $ war in the wrong country, 200,000 dead"

--Got any other lame Talking Points? And I don't think we got the wrong address on that war.

"Amazes me you had the guts to write"

--It amazes me that not only can you lie to others, but you can also lie to yourself and believe it.

  • NoGuff Yes. In 1991, as Sec. of Defense, dick spent $9 million w/ KBR (part of Halliburton) to reasearch how private companies could not only SUPPLY the military, but also REPLACE much of the militarys work for private profit. They found they could make great profit.WELL KNOWN! .Ratio of Contractors to Soldiers in Iraq in 1 to 1+(P. C.s) Gulf war: 60 Soldiers to 1 Contractor. Habllib. alone "lost" 1.8 BILLION.

You call those lame talking points? Understand why we think you people are dangerous!

  • " In 1991, as Sec. of Defense, dick spent $9 million w/ KBR (part of Halliburton)"

--And this was when he was CEO of Haliburton? You're sure?

"You call those lame talking points?"

--Well, if you can't corobarate it, then I'd call them lies. But hey, that's pretty standard for Liberals. So I'm know at all surprised.

  • CEO of HB 1995-2000. The sale of supplies to Libya had a 3 Million fine they paid. Offsore tax havens - look it up, not hard.

Under Bush 1 he invented war for profit. Why not look it up yourself.

Did you look up dick Cheney and Halliburton before you admited your ignorance? EVERY single thing I said is -....Come on children you can do it....

    Public Damn Knowledge.

Look it up. Please. Look it up. Do you know how sad you look when you call facts that most people out here know... lies?

  • "CEO of HB 1995-2000"

--So you're a liar. Thanks for confirming. Few are as bold as you.

"Under Bush 1 he invented war for profit"

--Really? So all those references throughout history of "war profiteers" was... what? Predictions of the future? FYI, dip-shit, the US military doesn't make it's own planes, ships, or missiles.

"Did you look up dick Cheney and Halliburton before you admited your ignorance"

--Why should I when you admitted you were lying? My job is done.

  • NOGUFF - Are you actually Billy Kristol, just messing with me? You are kidding...??

dick WAS CEO of Halliburton from 1995 - 2000. Maybe you just can't read.

The defense industry has obviously been around since Eisenhower. they SUPPLY the miltary.

What dick invented was private contractors REPLACING the miltary in their work... for profit. If you actually care, watch "Iraq for Sale", I have that movie on playlist...YOU TOO can know facts... even if you can't read.

    Now 'ya been schooled.

  • "dick WAS CEO of Halliburton from 1995 - 2000. Maybe you just can't read"

--You claimed he was CEO of Haliburton WHILE he was VP. Maybe you just can't tell the truth, liar.

    "they SUPPLY the miltary"

    --No shit.

"private contractors REPLACING the miltary in their work... for profit"

    --Good for him.

    "YOU TOO can know facts"

--I already know the facts, you idiot. The difference is they don't send me into orbit like they do you because I'm not a hate-filled Marxist like you. Go away.

  • "In 1991, as Sec. of Defense, dick spent $9 million w/ KBR (part of Halliburton) to reasearch"

--And he was VP at the time? You can't even get your own stories straight, you liar.

    "WELL KNOWN!"

--Yes, well known, by everyone. Only YOU have a problem with it. You have a problem with ANYONE YOU HATE making a success out of themselves. Meaning you're just a childish hateful person. Someone to be pitied.

"we think you people are dangerous!"

--Understand why we think you people are dumb?

  • Is 1991 during 1995 -2000? Let me help you - no. He was not CEO of Halliburton, He was VP and HIRED KBR, in 1991.

I know it's hard to get.

Yes, I'm dumb because I know 1991 is not during 1995-2000. You guys always prove my point.

  • "He was VP and HIRED KBR, in 1991"

--Aahh, now I see. Cheney was Vice President in 1991, huh? Nice job, asswipe.

"I know it's hard to get"

--Lies and delusions always are, shit-for-brains.

"Yes, I'm dumb because I know 1991 is not during 1995-2000. You guys always prove my point"

--Hey, I'm not standing in your way. So, on another subject, what is the Moon made of according to you? Green cheese?

  • You have to be an idiot to support satan.

  • "You have to be an idiot to support satan"

    --Sorry, I don't support Hillary.

  • Again, Mr. Atlas, You decry Pelosi. She made out to be satan on Fox 24/7, while Cheney is an honored guest.

dick: Invented profitmargins in warmaking, invaded the WRONG country so his buddies could get rich.Lied 24/7 to do it

  • How sad that Boy King Bush and RepubliCon Chickenhawks like Kristol have turned the political party of Abe Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt into the political party of Dick Cheney and Limpdick Limbaugh.

  • "Teddy Roosevelt"

    --He can kiss my ass.

"into the political party of Dick Cheney and Limpdick Limbaugh"

--And John Bolton, Sarah Palin, Sean Hannity, Dennis Prager, and Antonin Scalia. THANK GOD! Freedom-lovers all, oppression-haters all, and America-lovers all.

YOU are the opposite. And I pity you.

  • Draft dodging chickenhawk John Bolton?

    Militantly ignorant buffoon Sarah Palin?

    Daddy's Big Girl Sean Hannity?

    Religious fanatic Dennis Prager?

    Conservative judicial activist Antonin Scalia?

    More excellent examples of RepubliCons.

  • "No Regulation + Meltdown = Stimulus + Bailouts = Financial Demise

Regulation = no Meltdown = no Stimulus = no Bailouts = Financial Solvency

What is so hard to understand here?

You are signing up for Free Market - someone should tell you what that means.

  • Cheney/Cheney 2012!!!

Perfect solution to all that ails us... reinstall the policy that drove us into the ground!

Does ANYONE remember the Global Economic Meltdown of 2008?

Non-Regulation of mortages and Swaps sunk us.. they CREATED the NEED for the bailouts and Stimulus these miscreants blame on Obama. MOST of us can read a calendar!

No Regulation + Meltdown = Stimulus + Bailouts = Financial Demise

Regulation = no Meltdown = no Stimulus = no Bailouts = Financial Solvency

    IRONY!!

  • "Does ANYONE remember the Global Economic Meltdown of 2008?

Non-Regulation of mortages and Swaps sunk us"

--Actually, the evidence, clear video evidence, shows this problem was due to the Democrap Congress elected in '06, specifically Barney "I-know-nothing-about-a-gay-escort-service-being-run-out-of-my-townhouse" Frank and Christopher "I-got-my-sweetheart-mortgage-deal-from-the-federal-lender-my-committee-oversees" Dodd.

But thanks for perpetuating the lies.

  • Yea, I know, that's what they tell you on Fox. In fact, Fannie and Freddie were the only Government Regulated players. ALL OTHER lenders had No Regulation. Actually, Repubs were trying to change who OVER SAW F& F, not even regulate them. Why didn't they regulate ARMS/Interest Only/No Doc Loans? They had 5 years to do it. Total subprimes: $3 trillion.

Total Swaps: $60 Trillion. No $ to cover massive losses.

What will sink you faster $3 Tril or $60 Tril?

That math is too hard for Fox.

  • Also, the other idiot on this panel, Kristol founded Project For A New American Century with dick Cheney. They proudly brought you the Iraq War. Planned and published by that group in 1999 - the US Invasion of Iraq. They brought you the $3 Trillion price tag, too by inserting profit margins into warmaking.

Ever heard of Pax Americana - all you wonderful Conservatives? The FU-we-are-America-and-we-say-so foreign policy that keeps their Defense Contractors rich and all our children in body bags??

  • I'm not laying 100% of the blame on the Democraps, nor am I laying 100% of the blame on the RINOs. But the overshelming majority of the blame goes to the Democraps after the Pelosi takeover because that were most of the damage came from.

Bush asked many times for proper regulation (the videos of these requests can be found here on YT). But his calls fell on deaf ears.

It's so strange to me that you gripe about the Republican lack of regulation, but nothing about the Democraps corruption.

  • That is the reason all Connies give. In fact, Bush was changing overseers, not creating the sweeping regulation of nonconforming loans that would have been needed. "Under the plan, a new agency would be created within the Treasury Department to assume supervision of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac" NYT

I realize there are many videos put out by Connies that show a different story, research it!The fact remains BUSH did NOTHING to regulate the Mortgage Market.Arms, No interest, No docs = Meltdown!

  • "BUSH did NOTHING to regulate the Mortgage Market"

--He couldn't if Bawney Fwank and his minions like Chris Dodd blocked everything he tried to do.

Your Democrappy Party is CORRUPT beyond measure, and has been for years. You just refuse to open your eyes.

  • "Bawney Frank and his minions Chris Dodd blocked verything he tried to do"

Really? You RepubliCons controlled Congress up until 2007. What legislation did you Bushees introduce to regulate your Wall Street bankster cronies that was blocked by Dems?

  • So true, Hope.

Boy King Bush and his RepubliCons controlled the entire government until 2007. Dems had no power to legislate or regulate. RepubliCons always try to blame others for the inevitable results of their foolish policies.

This economic mess was the result of regulatory failure by Bushee RepubliCons. Just as the savings and loan collapse in the 1980s was the result of regulatory failures by corrupt Hollywood airhead Ronald Reagan and his band of RepubliCons.

  • atlas, you are BURIED in lies. That's all you've got. You're like a compendium of Liberal lies. If there's one about something, you've got it

    It's amazing, and terribly sad.

You're like an escaped mental patient who's able to convince strangers he's normal for brief periods, until, of course, he opens his mouth on something. His warped, twisted ramblings are a dead giveaway

You're so good at lying that you can combine multiple lies into one sentence. You're beyond hope, beyond reason

  • The plaintive wail of the whiney Bush titty baby: "It's always someone else's fault!"

You Republicans controlled the entire government from 2001 to 2007 when this economic mess was made. Republican president, Republican Congress, Republicans in charge of the regulatory agencies.

You Republicans were asleep at the switch with your pants down while your Wall Street bankster cronies raped the banking system just like you were asleep at the switch with your pants down on 9-11.

  • "It's always someone else's fault!"

--Lie. That's the mantra of an Obama-messiah zombie.

    "Republican Congress"

--Lie. The mess was made after '06.

"You Republicans were asleep at the switch with your pants down"

    --RINOs like Arlen Specter.

    "pants down on 9-11"

--I suppose we were in a high state of readiness when the WTC was almost brought down in 1993, right? Gee, who was president then?

  • Hmmm. The first attack on the WTC was on February 26, 1993, thirty days after the inaugeration. The only other terrorist attack on US soil under Clinton was the Oklahoma City bombing by Reagan Republican Tim McVeigh.

Boy King Bush had been in office for eight months on 9-11. Junior and the Bushees were so obsessed with medical marijuana and invading Iraq that you ignored Al Qaida. Condi Rice didn't even know what Al Qaida was when she was appointed as Junior's national security advisor.

  • It is UNBEARABLE listening to the nasally whiny tone of liz cheney. These people should have no place at ANY table. She is a vocal daughter of the worst terrorist in American History, Dick Cheney. We need to hang them both for treason and put us out of our misery. What balls the Cheney family has. They are criminals, people!!!!!

  • Why should we listen to the very same people who were asleep at the switch with their pants down on 9-11 despite all the warnings?

Why should we pay any attention to the Neocon Republican Chickenhawks who pimped the invasion of Iraq based on lies about "nukular" weapons and nonexistent Al Qaida connections and then bungled the entire operation?

  • "asleep at the switch"

--Were they the same ones asleep at the switch during Oklahoma? Waco? WTC '93? USS Cole? Kobar Towers? Years of being denied access in Iraq? You seem to put no blame on the airlines who refused to do anything at all in the name of security over the years, no matter how many times El Al told them they were needed.

    "based on lies"

--Wow, talk about old, debunked Talking Points! Haven't you received your latest Talking Points? Come on, get with the program.

  • Oklahoma? Do you mean the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City?

Interesting that you should mention that. since TIMOTHY MCVEIGH, THE OKLAHOMA CITY BOMBER WAS A REPUBLICAN JUST LIKE YOU!

  • "BOMBER WAS A REPUBLICAN JUST LIKE YOU"

--Many years before, yes. But not when his brain was in the warping stage, which lead him to mass murder. So fuck off with your lies, thanks!!!

  • "Many years before"

Nah. Only a Reagan Republican like Tim McVeigh could slaughter 168 of his fellow Americans and call himself a patriot.

You'll find that most recent acts of domestic terrorism were committed by Republicans.

Eric Rudolf, the abortion clinic bomber, was a staunch Republican. Scott Roeder, the fight-to-lifer who murdered Dr. George Tiller, was a Bushee Republican just like you. And, of course, the Holocaust Museum shooter, James Von Brunn, was a big Sarah Palin fan.

  • "a Reagan Republican like Tim McVeigh"

--Lie. Please, is that all you've got?

"most recent acts of domestic terrorism were committed by Republicans"

    --No examples, huh?

    "Scott Roeder"

    --Murderer.

    "James Von Brunn"

    --Racist lunatic.

    "big Sarah Palin fan"

    --Evidence?

  • Terrorist Timothy McVeigh = Reagan Republican

Terrorist Scott Roeder = Bush Republican

Terrorist Eric Rudolph = Reagan Republican

Terrorist James Von Brunn = Big Sarah Palin fan. Just check his web site. Von Brunn loved him some Sarah Palin.

  • The Bush Cult RepubliCons tortured prisoners to try to get them to falsely confess to a nonexistent connection between Iraq and 9-11. They're now terrified that their war crimes will be exposed during the trials.

  • "The Bush Cult RepubliCons"

--HAA!! It's so funny you should use that term "cult." It's so ironic, considering the cult that follows Obama, you Messiah. Bush supporters, like me, find much fault in him, but Obama cultists find no fault with him, he's "perfect" to you. But please continue, you make me laugh

"tortured prisoners to try to get them to falsely confess to a nonexistent connection between Iraq and 9-11"

--How many lies can you use to construct a sentence? I now have the answer

  • democrats focused like never before on jobs-Their Own

  • Two issues with this:

    1. How transparent can Obama be? Hiding behind the AG? What a coward. This is Obama's resposibility, no one elses.

    2. Nothing good can come out of this. Either Obama is negligent and incompetent. OR This is a deliberate setup to free KSM, and/or make the US look bad.

Either way, there's no good outcome for the US. This is 100% Obama.

  • Obama's trying to hide behind his cronies. What a wimp. He was John Wayne in the campaign, but the Duke is not Fred Rogers.

Just another pussy liberal who's weak as hell and refuses to take responsibility for his decisions. I guess I am thankful Obama is so inept. He is driving independents away.

    What a DUNCE!

  • RepubliCons like Cheney and Kristol are terrified that the trials will expose the Bushees as the war criminals that they are.

Keep America Safe? Yeah, except for that little 9-11 thingy. And the anthrax attacks. And letting Osama bin Laden escape. And an idiotic invasion of Iraq based on lies about "nukular" weapons and nonexistent Al Qaida connections.

  • Poor confused little wingnut. Obama has been in office for 10 months. You Bushees had 8 years and you failed miserabIy.

It's easy to understand why you RepubliCons would like to pretend that the Bush administration never happended or that it's ancient history. Junior and the Bushees are an embarrassment to all Americans. But Boy King Bush and his minions have only been gone for 10 months. It's gonna take a little longer than that to clean up the monumental mess they made.

  • You just don't get it. Bush was elected TWICE, and he actually had a set of balls. Watch Obama's party in the mid-term elections. It's going to be like 1994 all over again.

Remember when Clinton was trying to pass all this pussy socialism crap? America rejected Clinton, made him change, then re-elected him as a reward for abandoning his agenda.

And then he got his dick sucked on the world stage to the everlasting shame of the office of the presidency.

  • Nah. Bush was only elected once. In 2000 he was appointed by the RepubliCons on the Supreme Court.

Voters eventually saw through the Bushee fearmongering and their lies about Iraq. People witnessed the abject incompetence of the Bushees on national television after Hurricane Katrina. By the 2006 election, voters recognized that the RepubliCons were essentially just pawns for the oil companies and Big Pharma and they threw the bums out.

  • More sour grapes. Bottom line is that Americans voted and shall again. The voting results are the people's referendum.

And Bush was elected 4 times. That just galls folks like you. As for 2006 and 2008, as I already mentioned, mid-term elections usually go bad for the incumbent. And 2008 was all John McCain and Sarah Palin.

And if Rebublicunts go around acting like Democrats, they lose their base and lose elections. Watch 2010 - you know what's coming. People have had enough of the commie-libs

  • Nah. I'm looking forward to 2010. I'm especially enjoying watching the RepubliCons self-destruct as they try to kowtow to the Teabaggers, the Birther clowns and the other wingnut loonies.

  • Nope, the Virginia humiliation only showcases Democrat troubles. McDonnell's victory ends a winning streak they thought would last forever. McDonnell, a conservative, racked up huge victories in the key exurban counties of Loudoun and Prince William, which Gov. Tim Kaine carried in 2005 and President Obama won just a year ago. He also carried Fairfax County, which Obama won by 21 points.

The honeymoon is OVER; the Messiah's party is set to be crucified by voters. It's gotten tiring and pathetic

  • Perhaps you have erased from memory the honorable ex governor George 'Macacka' Allen, wildly popular in Virginia not along ago. The notion that Virginia has been solid for Democrats in the past decade is entirely baseless. Morevoer, the Dem candidate was extremely weak, barely making an effort to campaign in the summer. Finally, the GOP lost a congrssional seat in NY they had held since....the Civil War, despite Palins endorsement.

  • @molloyx

Then Why are they recounting the election, it might make Doug Hoffman the winner?

  • Conservatives, both social and fiscal, made W. and his legions of incompetent cronies armed and dangerous by providing vigorous support in both 2000 [ nevermind that he lost the popular vote by half a million] and 2004 yet now fail to take responsibility for their decisions and routinely denounce him. Moreover, as the national demographics continue to change the power of rural and suburban white male voters, the conservative base, continues to diminish.

    Semper fi, Gomer Pyle.

  • You are forgetting the growth of African American and Hispanic conservatism. Not all minorities are walking in lock step with the sniveling commie-libs. Some minorities are actually starting to think for themselves -wow!

People once endowed with an entitlement mentality are now learning about personal empowerment, and guess what? They no longer need the federal sugar tit.

People with hard earned wealth to conserve become conservatives. Losers who need government handouts become liberals.

  • Barking, the results of the last election proved conclusively that most hispanics were repulsed by the fear mongering rhetoric of Republican conservatives [ which is not likely to change due to the latent racism of their base] and, of course, African Americans came out in record numbers for Democrats. Obama also won decisicely w/ young voters and history indicates that such voters stick w/ the party they first identified with. Think, if thats the word, again.

  • Actually, Bobby, all the polls show that you RepubliCons are losing ground among minority voters. This is not surprising given your party's history of pandering to racists.

If only "people with hard earned wealth" are conservatives, how do you explain Warren Buffett and George Soros? And how about conservatives like Boy King Bush and Draft Dodgin' Dick Cheney whose wealth came directly from subsidies by the Conservative Nanny State?

  • Rich folks don't have to conserve - only people who earn their wealth. Soros and Buffett have the guilt syndrome over their greed and opulence. Who could sleep with all that wealth, knowing children are starving somewhere?

Rich liberals have a huge guilt complex. And as for as 2010? We'll just have to see. My team is surging, but in the end politics is no more than last weekend's football game.

The scores change but the game doesn't. The reality is that it's good fun but matters little.

  • Actually, I think it matters alot. Precisely because there are children starving somewhere.

Not sure how much you know about George Soros. He epitomizes the self made man. He's the lkind of self made man that Nanny State Conservatives like Bush, Cheney, Scaife and Koch can only pretend to be.

Guilt complex? Nah. We're just trying to do unto others as we would have them do unto us.

  • Well, by all means do unto others as you see fit. Just don't raise my taxes to pay for it. I prefer a system where people have the opportunity to earn their way without having to depend on the federal sugar tit.

That's what I don't understand about liberals. They want too much central government, and that's not American. People came here to escape that.

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not." -Thomas Jefferson

  • So, Bobby, as a Republican you're okay with spending my taxes on your idiotic invasion of Iraq, on huge tax subsidies for oil companies like ExxonMobil & on Pentagon boondoggles like Star Wars but you object to spending them on food, shelter & medical care for the less fortunate among us? Weird.

You obviously fancy yourself as a small government conservative. Here's a question for you:

Do you support giving the government the power to force a woman to carry a fetus against her will?

  • I supported the Iraq war - not the nation building crap. That's not our responsibility. Saddam was a wicked enemy, and he and his evil sons are DEAD

    I enjoyed seeing him hang.

As for Abortion, I support a woman's right to chose when to spread her legs, and a child's right to life. The right to life should trump somebody's inconvenience.

But we all know life is cheap to liberals unless it's KFC chickens or old growth trees. And that is why our culture has rotted so. We are a nation of pussies.

  • Saddam was but one of many murderous dictators armed & funded by you Republicans

Just so we're clear, you support giving the government the power to force a woman to carry a fetus against her will, yes?

But you oppose having the government spend our taxes to provide any form of support for that woman or her child in the way of food, shelter or medical care, yes?

If abortions were criminalized, who would you punish in the event of an abortion? The woman? Her husband? Her doctor?

  • "Saddam was but one of many"

--Then you should be happy he's dead. But you're not.

"you support giving the government the power"

--Just as we support the govt's power to prevent other murders. Unless the procedure is necessary to save the woman's life if she wants that (many women choose give birth anyway).

    "provide any form of support"

--No. Not sure where you get that from.

    "who would you punish"

--The woman, the doctor, & the husband if he's involved. What did you think?

  • Wow. You should consider moving to Afghanistan, NoGiff. With your views on women, you'd fit right in with the Taliban.

Since you asked, I think the choice to have an abortion should be left entirely to the woman and her doctor. As repugnant as I may find abortion, I find the idea of granting any government the power to force a woman to carry a fetus against her will to be far more repugnant.

  • "You should consider moving to Afghanistan, NoGiff. With your views on women, you'd fit right in with the Taliban"

    --Such as?

"force a woman to carry a fetus against her will"

--So you think a living baby is an inconvenience that should have its head crushed & sucked out, right? Inconvenience trumps murder?

The govt prevents murders all the time, or at least prosecutes them. I guess when the murder is committed out of convenience then it must be ok, so long as the victim is a baby.

  • Nah. Never said inconvenience trumped murder. Abortion is not murder. A fetus or zygote is not the equivalent of a fully formed human being.

    Here's a question for you:

Let's assume that there is a fire at a fertility clinic. Trapped inside the clinic are a five year old child and a petrie dish containing ten zygotes. You can only rescue either the child or the zygotes. Which would you rescue, the child or the zygotes?

  • "Never said inconvenience trumped murder"

--I didn't say that's what you said. It is the meaning of what you said.

"Abortion is not murder. A fetus or zygote is not the equivalent of a fully formed human being"

    --In your opinion.

    "Which would you rescue"

--The child. But I wouldn't start a fire to kill the zygotes.

If an unborn baby isn't a Human being, what is it, a dog?

  • Biology isn't your strong suit, is it? Typical Republican misogynist. A fetus is not a dog. It's a fetus. There are centuries of medical and ethical literature which describe the differences between a fetus and a fully formed human being. Please consult a dictionary if you have additional questions.

Bottom line: Giving a government, any government, the power to force a woman to carry a fetus against her will is a really bad idea. Communist Romania tied it. With disasterous consequences.

  • "It's a fetus"

--And.... what is a fetus? It's a dog fetus? A horse fetus? No, it's a HUMAN fetus.

"There are centuries of medical and ethical literature"

--I could say the same about the great minds who believed the world was flat.

    "Communist Romania tied it"

--And the other Communist nations accepted abortion with open arms and therefore participated in the deaths of untold millions and left their cultures morally bankrupt. Just like you and your Neo-Communist brethren.

  • That's weak. Very weak.

You know very well what is being killed when somebody is aborted. You know. And all the rationalizations in the world can't change what an abortion is.

But since liberals have set the precedent, maybe people I define as less than human should be "aborted". Like people who burn the American flag. I have the right to control my own body, so I should be allowed to have this abortion.

    Will you support my choice?

  • Here's a question for you:

The clouds parted and God spoke to the entire world (thus ending any doubt as to His existence) and said young Jane Smith is now expecting the new Messiah, who will end all suffering, war, & strife.

Young Jane Smith, a comitted Liberal & feminist, says no fairy tale Santa Claus is going to control her life and announces she's going to abort the "blob of cells" just for spite.

You're in a position to prevent that abortion from happening. What do you do?

  • Pretty weird hypothetical. The assumptions are so bizarre, I hardly know here to begin. You neocon wingnuts have a very strange view of God, don't you? Can I presume that you are a follower of Paul's cannibalism cult?

  • "Pretty weird hypothetical"

--No, it isn't. You simply refuse to answer the question, because the answer you know to be the right one goes against your belief system. Just say it.

  • It was a straw man, Dorothy, and we both know it.

Of course it's weird. My belief system simply does not include such weirdness. The God I know would never do something like that. Leave it to a member of Paul's cannibalism cult to come up with such a bizarre hypothetical.

Two can play at that, of course. What if the "blob of cells" was (to use the terminology of your cult) Satan. Would you oppose aborting the fetus?

  • "The God I know would never"

--The God you know would never send a Messiah. Wow. I'm floored by that one. You're amazing.

    "Paul's cannibalism cult"

--WTF do you keep babbling about?

    "terminology of your cult"

    --The terminology of you liars.

"Satan. Would you oppose aborting the fetus?"

    --Would I oppose it? No.

    "Paul's cannibalism cult"

--Oh, ok, well if you're not even going to read my messages, then there's no point in continuing in your charade of childishness.

  • The God I know wiould never come up with you're bizarre hypothetical. As I wrote previously, Paul refers to Paul of Tarsus. I presume that you are a member of his cult.

Here's some simple questions. Do you have the stones to actually answer them?

Do you oppose or suppor the legality of contraception?

Do you oppose or support the legality of the Paln B pill?

Do you oppose or support abortion rights in the early stages of pregnancy when the fetus cannot survive outside the womb?

  • "The God I know wiould never come up with you're bizarre hypothetical"

--You're not fooling anyone. You can't answer it and so you label it "bizarre." You're so lame.

"I presume that you are a member of his cult"

--And now Christianity is a cult. Keep going, you're really hurting my feelings. Oh, woe is me!

    Support

    What's the "Paln B pill?"

    Oppose

  • "And now Christianity is a cult"

Nah. YOUR VERSION of Christianity is a cannibalism cult. You've rejected and twisted the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, the most profound moral philosopher in human history. You've turned Jesus into some kinda warrior king whose flesh you eat and whose blood you drink in the hope that it will help smite your enemies and boost your bank account.

  • "YOUR VERSION of Christianity is a cannibalism cult."

--You are a piece of shit because you're so full of hate that you have to make up shit, twist the truth, and spew evil hatred against all those who don't agree with you.

You belong in a padded cell, along with your gods Ed Shultz, Keith Olberman, and Mike Malloy. Then you can all live in your imaginary Socialist utopia.

  • I love it when you wingnuts get yer little panties in a wad.

You Bushee cheerleaders and Neocon chickenhawks like to talk rough and tough. But when someone calls you out on your lies, your bullshit or your bizarre religous beliefs, you morph into whoney Republican titty babies.

  • "a follower of Paul's cannibalism cult?"

--No, Ron Paul is a nut. So is Alex Jones. Paul's zombies are just Democraps in disguise which is why you never hear anything about religion from them.

Also, you never answered my question. If the fetus inside a woman is not a Human being, what is it? It' not a dog fetus or a horse fetus. What is it? Can you say? Or should I say, can you admit it?

  • My reference to "Paul's cannibalism cult" did not refer to Ron Paul. I was referring to your religion. You are a follower of the teachings of Paul of Tarsus, yes?

I recognize that you RepubliCons are not big on the science thing. but I thought that I made this clear to you. A human fetus is a human fetus. A human fetus is not the same thing as a fully formed human being. A fetus, any fetus, cannot survive on its own outside the womb.

  • "A human fetus is a human fetus. A human fetus is not the same thing as a fully formed human being. A fetus, any fetus, cannot survive on its own outside the womb"

--So you finally agree with me. That's good. Maybe upon recognizing the truth you will finally come around.

  • I'd rescue the 5 yr old child and leave behind the petri dish. But that can't change the philosophical madness over what abortion is. Given a choice between a 5 yr old child and an 80 yr old in a wheelchair, I'd still rescue the child.

Does that make Granny any less human?

  • I'm glad to know that you have the sense to rescue the child instead of the zygotes. There's hope for you after all, Boibby

The flag burning analogy is nonsensical and you know it. The flag burner is not part of your body nor dependent upon you for his existence. You have no right to hurt him despite your revulsion at his act

What is being killed in an abortion is a human fetus. A human fetus is not the same as a human being.

So, why would you rescue the child instead of Granny?

  • Because Granny lists me as a beneficiary on her life insurance policy. And I want her car and home. Granny has a little savings I could use to pay off my credit card debt.

In other words, Granny's continued existence is inconvenient for me, so she gets toasted.

  • "I'm glad to know that you have the sense to rescue the child instead of the zygotes"

--Funny, this "zygote" thing must be the latest Liberal Talking Point because I encountered it on another page. After being on YouTube for all this time I never heard anyone use the "zygote" angle. Then one day, two use it. I'm sure to see it again and again over the next few months.

BTW, a zygote is only the first 5 days in a Human's development. And zygotes are not want doctors kill in an abortion.

  • I correctly used the term "zygotes" in connection with the fertility clinic hypothetical.

So, does your parsing of the terminology mean that you are not opposed to abortions when they take place in the early stages of pregnancy? Do you support the availability of the Plan B pill? How about contraception, do you oppose that also?

  • "I correctly used the term"

--I didn't say you used the term incorrectly. You employed a misrepresentation in your argument.

    "parsing of the terminology"

--Friend, this isn't "parsing of terminology," I told you the facts of "zygotes" and abortions, and you intentionally lie with your misrepresentations. Simple as that. You use "zygote" to marginalize the importance of the life of an unborn baby.

    "when they take place"

    --Is it abortion?

    "contraception"

    --Is it abortion?

  • "not the nation building crap. That's not our responsibility"

--Yes it is. You break it, you bought it. Besides that, it's in our best interests to have a stable, friendly democracy in Iraq.

"The right to life should trump somebody's inconvenience"

--Good way of putting it. Liberals often overlook the option of adoption.

"life is cheap to liberals unless it's KFC chickens or old growth trees"

    --Or Kaleed Shiekh Muhammad.

  • "idiotic invasion of Iraq"

--Better than spending my money on pig fart research.

"tax subsidies for oil companies like ExxonMobil"

--ExxonMobile = commerce. Look into it. It's better than huge grants for ACORN.

    "Pentagon boondoggles like Star Wars"

--It not only advanced our science & technology, it also helped us win the Cold War, you dummy.

"object to spending them on food, shelter & medical care for the less fortunate"

--The govt already does that, and NO ONE is against it.

  • Turn off Faux News for a moment, NoGuff.

Soros is a capitalist. So am I. Probably more so than you. But I don't let my love for profits blind me to the idiocy of you Neocon Republicans and your Trickle Down Reaganomics.

Stop pretending that Star Wars had anything to do with winning the Cold War. With the opening of the Soviet archives, nonpartisan historians will tell you that Reagan's big giveaways to his funders in the defense industry had nothing to do with the collapse of the USSR.

  • "Soros is a capitalist. So am I"

--Yeah? The Chinese are capitalists. So what? Soros is a Neo-Communist, just like his puppet Obama.

"Star Wars had anything to do with"

--Communism is rotten at it's core. It's failure is certain. But the trigger for the USSR was it's overspending on defense interests in trying to keep up with the USA's advances. Star Wars program was one of the main reasons the USSR spent more to keep up.

But you're telling me their spending was no problem to them? Fine.

  • C'mon. You RepubliCons call anyone who disagrees with you a communist or a Marxist or an Islamofascist or whatever your boogeyman du jour is. Just like you RepubliCons called anyone who dared to criticize your idiotic invasion of Iraq a "traitor".

The demise of the Soviet Union was a fait accompli. Many Kremlinologists predicted its collapse by the end of the 1970s. Had nothing to do with expenditures associated with Reagan's Star Wars pipe dream.

  • "You RepubliCons call anyone who disagrees with you a communist or a Marxist or an Islamofascist or whatever your boogeyman du jour is"

    --No we don't.

"RepubliCons called anyone who dared to criticize your idiotic invasion of Iraq a "traitor"."

    --No we didn't.

Why do you only have bullshit against Conservatives? It's so lame.

    "Had nothing to do with"

    --That's a subject for debate.

  • Reagan 1981 "The West will not contain Communism; it will transcend Communism. We will not bother to denounce it, we'll dismiss it as a sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages are even now being written."

AND: "The march of freedom and democracy will leave Marxism-Leninism on the ash heap of history as it has left other tyrannies which stifle freedom and muzzle the self-expression of the people."

Liberals chided Reagan for his boldness. Little has changed.

  • Seriously, Bobby. do a little research. There were CIA analysts and Kremlinologists who recognized the inevitable decline and fall of the USSR several years before corrupt Hollywood airhead Ronald Reagan ran for president. Daniel Patrick Moynihan gave a series of lectures about it, Zbigniew Brzezinski predicted it. Check out "Will the Soviet Union Survive Until 1984?" by Andrei Amalrik. Check out the works of Bernard Levin, Emmanuel Todd and Raymond Aron. You give Reagan far too much credit

  • I never disagreed with any of that. But Reagan was right. Admit it. And liberals like Ted Kennedy were working behind the scenes to thwart our own president. A letter which details Kennedys offer to help the USSR defeat Reagans efforts to build a nuclear deterrent in Europe was unearthed by a Times of London reporter after the KGB files were opened. It got little attention until the publication of "The Crusader Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism."

    You'd better change subjects now.

  • "epitomizes the self made man. He's the lkind ... Bush, Cheney, Scaife and Koch can only pretend to be"

--I have no problem with Soros being a self-made man, nor do I have a problem with Bush being from a rich family (BTW, I don't think Cheney was from a rich, connected family). Because I'm not jealoous of rich people like Marxists, I'm a Conservative. I say good for them.

What I do have a problem with is that Soros is a Neo-Communist and wants to destroy the USA & take away our freedoms.

  • Atlas. Always good to see you hacking away at the idiocracy.

    Semper fi.

  • Thanks. You, too. Hope you are well.

The Faux Newsers are freaking out that the torture policies of the Bush cult will be exposed. It's sad how little faith RepubliCons have in our country, our judicial system and the rule of law.

  • We had a name for marines like you: SHITBIRDS!

You cunts were a total disgrace to the uniform.

  • Equally disreputable was Liz Cheneys' rant re Obamas actions and policies re Afghanistan. Her father and Bush under resourced the effort in Afghanistan for years by diverting men, material and intelligence to the trillion dollar misadventure in Iraq and Obama authorized a troop increase shortly after taking office and green lighted an increase in Predator drone attacks in Pakistan. Such revisionist history is typical, BTW, of totalitarian regimes.

  • liz cheney is just sad... dick cheney is actually dead but his pacemaker and defibrillator keep him staggering around...

  • @turtleblues66

    Liz Cheney is doing Great.

hope U never need a pacemaker, thats right obama care wont give U one.

  • your comment would be laughable if it were not so apparent that you are tragically ill-informed....

  • I can't believe this Liz Cheney says 9/11 was the worst attack on America in America's history. There were far worse attacks, entire cities were burned to the ground for example. As much as I hate Kristol, I have to agree with him, this should be in a military tribunal, not a civilian court. He is not a citizen, he was apprehended in a foreign nation by the military and did not commit a civillian crime. I don't buy the secrecy bit though.

  • @christo930

Please tell me the cities that were burned to the ground by a faren goverment.

    pearl harbor 2,403 died

  • Please don't tell me you think 9/11 was worse than the revolutionary war or the war of 1812. Many cities on the east coast were burnt to the ground during the revolutionary war and the war of 1812.

I am not trying to minimize the terrorist attack, but it wasn't the worst attack in American History.

  • As was pointed out on the same Fox News panel the conviction rate for trying terrorists in civilian court is....100 percent. Kristol said he was concerned these monsters would walk due to technicalities, ignoring the fact that no jury in New York city, the site of the atrocity, would do anything but decide to give them the strictest penalty allowed by law. It was an entirely irrational presentation generated by his loathing of the Obama adminsitration.

  • I think people are just trying to stick up for the democrats. Myself, I think people should be hardest and least forgiving of their own party and it frustrates me. If you are a liberal, you should nail the democrats because they are the ones that are supposed to be representing you...

This is a bad precedent because he isn't a citizen, he was arrested outside the US for a military crime, he should not be given access to our civilian court system.

    Don't make it political.

  • It has already been politicized, Christo, w/ all due respect, by the party that cannot tolerate being out of power. The trial in NYC is an opportunity for the those closest to the scene of the crime to bring the monsters who slaughtered 3,000 innocents to justice. Moreover, it provides an opportunity for the world, especially the Islamic world, to witness an essential aspect of our democracy and its constitutional principles.

  • How do we give this man a trial by his peers? How can he get a fair trial in NYC? Famous trials are usually moved out of the county so that jurors are not biased against them, what civilian court is going to give him a fair trial by his peers (peers that live in another country)? What about his statements and the fact that he wasn't read his rights?

What the islamic world needs to see, is his being tortured for years and years.

  • Fuck a fair trial. These animals are not worthy of the normal constitutional rights afforded actual Americans. Where is your head?

Actually, this is why liberals can't be trusted with issues of national security. Obama has been a disaster, and when [not if] we are attacked, the blood will be on Obama's hands.

  • I agree that he should be tried by a military tribunal, I am trying to point out all of the flaws of a civilian trial. OTOH, I do believe he deserves a FAIR trial, mind you FAIR doesn't mean he walks, it just means that it is proved that he is the man responsible (If that is what he is charged with). The evilness of a crime doesn't determine if a fair trial is given. Do we want to start convicting people based on anger about the crime, or because they actually did the crime?

  • We agree, but Obama has moved to give these animals the rights of Americans.

    That speaks volumes.

  • How ironic that a Bushee would accuse anyone of being untrustworthy on national security. You RepubliCons controlled the entire US government on 9-11. You were asleep at the switch with your pants down despite all the warnings when 3,000 Americans were slaughtered by Islamic extremists. Then you launched an idiotic invasion of Iraq based on lies about "nukular" weapons and nonexistent Al Qaida connections. You RepubliCons have absolutely no cresibility on matters of national security.

  • As a conservative, I hate G. W. Bush (and his cronies)more than you do. He painted himself as a conservative and he wasn't even close to being conservative and he made us look bad. Not only did he not represent me, but destroyed the credibility of my political ideology by doing horrible things and saying it's conservative.

The modern GOP is a "moral majority" social conservative org that uses big gov to aid big corporations and to push Christianity on the rest of us.

    Their motto:fuck the people!

  • @christo930

the only reason Ur here is to push Ur atheist agenda.

  • Push my atheist agenda? What does being an atheist have to do with any of this? I commented that I wanted to see someone get a fair military trial for a crime he was charged with.

  • Interesting. Although I wouldn't term what the Family Values Republicans are pushing as "Christianity".

As to Bush, I see George W. Bush as Ronald Reagan with a Republican Congress, bad hair and no acting lessons. Neocon all-hat-no-cattle cowboys the both of 'em.

Whom do you consider to be a genuine conservative? Serious question.

  • I don't think anyone is a perfect conservative, but I like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff (although he isn't elected yet). The problem is that I don't go all the way to libertarianism because I do think there is a proper roll for government. For example, I feel that we need an EPA if for no other reason that to set standards. Most libertarians want only courts to handle this stuff, but without setting standards (like parts per million in water contamination) how can a court make a ruling?

  • Ideally, we want the gov to protect personal freedoms: There should be no such thing as a victimless crime. For example, drugs should be legal. Next, a persons wages should not be taxable, only his income (dividends, stock gains, business transactions, investment gains...), that is how it worked for a very long time in the US. Between tax on income (not wages) and corp profits, the gov could easily support itself. The more money we give them, the more they need! Have you noticed that?

  • These are very insightful comments, christo. I appreciate your thoughtful response and I agree with you on many things. It's sad that our tax policy for most of the last 30 years has been to shift the tax burden onto labor and away from capital.

  • Thank you. I just learned about Atlas Shruggery a few days ago and I downloaded the book. I heard it is selling very well right now, is it pretty good? I am assuming you like it given your handle.

  • Hey christo, I think you mean Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. My screen name is an intentional parody of that book's title. My views on the book are probably best summarized on my channel. Suffice it to say that I consider Ayn Rand to be an egomanical sociopath and that I deeply regret that Ayn Rand groupies like Alan Greenspan didn't Go Galt before they wrecked the US economy and banking system.

  • Yes, I really don't know much about her because I just learned about her a few days ago. She had some good ideas, but she had some really weird ideas, things like altruism is sick. Greenspan abandoned all conservative ideas when he took over the fed and yes, destroyed our country. Price fixing never works and when they figure out that setting interest rates is price fixing, we will all be better off.

  • Both made huge mistakes in their compromises in principle. But that's as good as it gets on a national level. If you want to learn about true conservatism, read up on Ron Paul and Barry Goldwater.

They define it best. Too bad our nation is too pussified to invest in personal empowerment and equality of opportunity. In the 20th century after the depression, everybody was too afraid of individualism, morality and fortitude.

That's when America lost its balls.

  • OOPS! I guess you missed the memo. The jury returned with its verdict in 2002. Bush INCREASED the republican majorities in both the house and senate. And the senate majority leader LOST HIS SEAT, because he was such a cunt.

Usually, it is expected that mid-term elections go poorly for the incumbent president, but not with Bush after 911 in 2002 and again in 2004.

Americans knew. And the votes don't lie, and in 2010, these cunt liberals out of power. Obama's latest F-Up speaks volumes.
