  • @mondenkindqueen how the heck r u suppose to hold all those????

  • @Sobremaria1 It just two keys at the same time. It's not all the alts, only one alt. Then the 2 one the right hand side of the keyboard at the same time. Does that help?

  • i really like this song, well this one and the song the famous mister b

  • ☻Father: Hey there!

    Coraline: I love your garden!

    ☻Father: OUR garden, Coraline!

(Coraline is being tickled by the snapdragons)

☻Father: Daughter in distress! (☻Father grabs a flower and toots it like a bugle)

☻Father: Tickle no more you... dragon snappers.

Coraline: I can't believe you did this!

☻Father: Sure did! Now hop on, I wanna show you something!

☻Father: Mother knew you'd like it. Boy, she knows you like the back of her hand.

  • This song makes me think about the evil snapdragon flowers that attack coraline when the garden wasn't so "fantastic" anymore.

  • Other Father's Garden will SO be on my wishlist after the Zanzibars and the milkshake chandelier and the grasshopper robot :D

  • the best thing about this movie is that is was not cgi at all, just stop motion, beautiful movie and well made

  • Does anyone know when this comes out on DVD in Australia? (As in the Movie)

  • My favorite three!

    1) Dreaming

    2) Coraline Dispair

    3) And....Fantastic Garden!!!!

  • i love the garden!

  • Gotta love that beefy bassline.

  • haha, I always finds this scene a little weird XD the music is also weird, but in a funny way c:

  • I think this is my favorite song on the soundtrack. c:

  • Mister Bobinsky was the best ;D

  • i love coraline

  • this part in the movie when he was showing the garden i was like WOAH! any ways this song is cool!

  • Oh, my twitchy witchy girl, I think you are so nice, I give you bowls of porridge, and I give you bowls of ice... cream!

That line is stuck in my head. :)

  • @Mellvin58 I sing it all the friggin time.

  • @Mellvin58 me either.

  • @Mellvin58 I Thought it was rice?

  • Man If I had another Father he would make me a huge garden with my face in it :D

  • I LOVED THIS SCENE!

Right when i saw the garden i was like............WOW! THATS GOOD ANIMATION!

  • I showed this movie to my folks, and they thought this scene was all CGI. *lol*

  • it doesn't even look like CGI xD

the only CGI was the fog when wybie was looking for the banana slugs.

  • Actually, would you believe that fog was live action? Whew....

  • as Bobzeaux says, the fog is live action. They used dry ice to create the fog and sprayed compressed air to create the feeling that Coraline and Wybie were moving the fog. Then once they filmed that, the rest of the movie was layered onto it.

  • wow. they must have had to take each picture VERRY carefuly or else it would have looked strange.

  • That's why it takes like 8 years to make an animated film like this, even ones done in CGI take longer than your average live action film

  • @zackpots actually this wasnt done in stop motion it was done in real life there little robots.

  • Actually, it was done in stop motion animation. If you watch "The biggest Little Movie in the World," you'll see.

  • actually it didnt say any thing about that so hardy-har-har (srry im in a bad mood today)

  • It was made in stop motion, but they're not robots. They're skeletal figures that can bend and twist. The hair is hand made and hand painted, the clothes are hand-knitted, the settings were all hand made, etc.

  • Actually,that wasn't CGI! It was real!!

  • This was my most favourite scene of the entire movie. I love the bass guitar at 0:47. It just made the scene.

  • Other Father: "Hey!"

    Coraline: "I love your garden!"

    OF: "Our garden Coraline!"

    C: (laughs) "Stop tickling me!"

OF: "Oo! Daughter in distress! Tickle no more you dragon snappers."

    C: "She said it's time for dinner...breakfast...food?"

OF: "Hop on kiddo, i wanna show you something."

    Such a great scene

  • i laughed at this but you have great memory lol

  • lol, people often tell me that when they read my comments. this isn't the only song i've quoted check bobinsky, wybie, or the other father song. even more than that

  • @Forceflow63 The other father didn't want to hurt Coraline. When the other father died I almost died crying in my head.

  • @allmykidsmum I know ;A; He was like: "I'm sorry, so sorry... I don't want to hurt you, other mother made me...Hurry, take this!"

He disobeyed other mother and died to help Coraline *sobs*

  • @Forceflow63 I love dinner-breakfast-food.

  • @Forceflow63 mmmm I love dinner, breakfast, food.

  • i love the bass in this song...but i cant tell if its a fretless or not D:

  • This music is so gorgeous. I think I like it more than the actual movie. Although the book is better.

  • Really? :o

  • Everything about this movie is so brilliantly done it didn't wrap around my head the first time I saw it. I was just sort of in awe. But this is one of my favorite parts. Especially when he goes, "Daughter in distress!" and cuts her the flowers. Very cute.

  • the only thing that sucks is that i couldve been a little longer grr o well still great scene even better in 3d

  • this might be my favorite song from the movie. i loved all the songs though

  • i love this song

  • im a big coraline fan

  • very jazzy like feeling as if u were in Hooville by Dr.Seuss only ur in a gardan. Love Coraline

  • thats exactly what i thought!

  • this is a good song!!!!" i love coraline

  • The violin parts at the beginning that slowly come in sound alot like music from 'The Village'

  • This bass line is absolutely brilliant...Just had to look this up after I saw the movie. So awesome

  • precisely what i was doing

  • Henry Selick and Neil Gaiman aren't gonna make another movie of Coraline. Coraline is as good as it is, it doesn't need a sequel. Atleast that what they sad.

  • I don't know how Henry Selick can make another Coraline movie (He is planning to do one) How can you do that?

  • this makes you happy and think wow this is amazing but its sad at the end when it seems happy and coralines finaly free you know what happens at the end:(

  • SPOILERS

You mean that it's all an illusion, a mascara to make it look appealing?

  • yer its just no one listens to her and she goes there and evry one loves her then its all fake and just the music sounds so nice and happy then in the end its just the other mother making it so she can eat her lol..

  • And that beneath the surface, they're dangerous (save the other father and other Wybie)?

  • The violin-esque music at 0:09 was a nice touch, like it personified that plants really could awaken at your presence. And the chimes, like those plants were blinking away dormancy to first see Coraline. 0:40 had a laid-back "twang" to it, no different than savoring the morning/night in that scene. Further on, the music just seems to nocturnally rush into a new "day" like it were a botanic city of a garden. 1:04 was like a fanfare for the flora.

  • coraline is a acual name i have 3 friends named coraline and it is confusing belive me DX

  • yes he did

  • tht was a truly magical movie... whenever u hear the music like this, u know something's gonn turn on her L8r in the film, yet its magical, beautiful, and hypnotizing @ the same time.....

  • her name sounds like car alarm lol.. jk :P

  • Is Coraline really a name? I mean I really actually like it a lot ^^ a good nickname I remember for Coraline could be Cora

  • I think it may be a name, just a very uncommon one. My cat is named Coraline, but I named her that because of the book. It might start becoming more popular though because of the movie.

  • It's an altered version of Caroline, like Lyra and Lara - when the Northern Lights came out, Lyra became a name, so I think Coraline will too.

  • Yes, Coralie is a very frequent name here in France. But I dont know any Coraline. :)

  • my name is coraline

  • are you serious??? Thats soooo cool!!!!

  • I like the black cat, he very helped Coraline.

  • he very help coraline ??

  • This is good 1, very good music and scene

  • Love it from 1:09 till 1:15 =D Pretty Awesome Instrument Thing

  • i love it

    lol

  • the instruments they use sound so ... made up!!

    i love it XD *-*

  • This song and the mice circus are my favorite parts of the score.

  • I love your garden

  • my name is coraline!!

    woohoo!!

never knew it would be so popular!!

    yay

    *-*

  • Seriously?! Cool! The other week my mum was saying that Coraline would make a nice name for a baby. And I said, "A cat, maybe." LOL.

  • Lol haha my name was unpopular untill leona lewis became famous. so there's a hint off my name xD

  • oooo.. wonder

    ur name must be ..leona?

    XD

    lol

    heres a creepy..funny joke

what starts with c, in the middleit has un, and endts with a t??

    NO, a coconut u pervert!

  • Ohh; I was told;

what begins with c and ends in t, and is another name for a pussy?

    a cat (:

  • lolz

    <3

    kitty cat ^o^

that was supposed to look like a cat :/ (^o^)

  • lol i didnt think that. i never do. xD

  • The scene makes you believe in things you want to rethink! :)

  • This is like the most flipping awesome scene in the movie!

  • sick ass bassline. & i love the bending of the notes & the shimmering effects. just a really awesomeee song.

makes me feel cool. haha :]

  • LOVE this song.

    Love everything from Coraline, really.

  • I wish I could have a garden like the one in the movie! Even the real garden is cool, with all the old plants growing in it!

  • The other mother is so convincing, even though she always has a little creepy tone, but she's so convincingly "nice", it feels very vague and you barely notice it.

Even I was convinced, and I have very nice parents that have never divorced or been married to anyone else. This movie is amazing! ^^

  • other mother makes the other world so amazing,it makes me want to stay with her forever, the garden, theater, the jumpping mouse cicus, and the food are amazing!i just dont want my life to be eaten.....

  • the whole movie makes you fell like a kid with being facinated by a garden but at the end you dn't fell bad about beeing a kid........wierd

  • "I love your garden!" "Our garden, kiddo!" Luring attempt, right there. :p

  • its "our garden coraline!"

  • srry, I was thinking about how my brother Tyler calls me kiddo right there for some reason.. -_-

  • Good point, I hadn't really thought of that. It's fun thinking up the possible answers to those questions though. But making a movie of it might not be the best idea. On reflection, I don't really think it'd work out as well as I originally thought. Coraline is a strong enough movie to stand on it's own. Doesn't need sequels or prequels to explain every little detail, it works fine on it's own.

  • yea, but i would be kind of cool to find out where the other mother was from.

  • MmmM slap bass... so energetic

  • Comment removed

  • Actually It's Fretless Bass.

  • i love this part in the movie

  • I love this song! It's so magical, it just makes you feel like running around, and then at the end of the day, relaxing in the sunset. That's my freaky definition of the song.

  • I totally agree. It makes you feel energetic and then so... warm and relaxed.

  • I think the creator of The Nightmare Before Christmas should make The Theif Of Always too! It would be awesome, and The Graveyard Book too, since I know the ones that helped with the movie would like more magic in their lives! Who's with me? Or if you don't like the idea, it's all alright for me.

  • Doesn't this song kinda make you wanna go outside and just run around a little bit? Maybe i'm just weird

  • @IIyana08 I knoww! in the dark too x this song reminds me of my dreams i used to have

  • Maybe not a sequel, but how about a prequel, explaining the origins of the other world, the other mother, the cat and everything else that people keep saying that the movie didn't explain.

  • having another movie explain everything would take all the imagination out of it

  • Instead of a sequel, what they SHOULD do is make Neil Gaiman's new book, 'The Graveyard Book', into a movie. Now THAT would be freaking awesome.

  • i can't find graveyard book in any bookstore in my country! Darn it, must be cool!:(

  • Agreed. No sequels. Giving this movie a sequel would be like making up a sequel to The Nightmare Before Christmas. What are you going to do? Reuse the exact same idea and do it all over again. It's pointless. ^.^ I love this movie.

  • I agree

  • me too...but they should make a prequel

  • Coraline doesn't need a sequel and I think its greedy to ask for one. It was an original and it needs to stay that way, not like all of these crappy trilogies now adays.

  • Si, si. Agreed, as a rule of thumb, the first is usually the best, with only a few exceptions.

  • Comment removed

  • The Villain is gone there can be no sequel. If you tried it would end up absolutely horrible no matter how good the animation crew is.

  • It would be nice to see more Coraline and Wybie... and more buttons... *shudder*

Not to mention more of Henry Selick's amzing claymation skills, but I think a sequel would be a TERRIBLE idea, UNLESS they came up with a superb idea! Which is ALWAYS hard to do. XD

  • no squeal! it will ruin the movie it wasn't ment for that!!

  • this movie wuz the bom!!! my fave part was when coraline said i almost fell down a well yesterday mom the her mom said mmhm then coraline said i wouldve died and her mom said thats nice lol
