My first thought was maybe the numbers 911 were there because of the use of it for emergency phone calls and so there's an association of that number with danger but then I started wondering why did they chose 911 for the emergency phone number in the first place? First it was 11111 in Canada and 999 in England but then the US decided to change it to 911 back in 1968. Just a coincidence?
