I hate to break it to you Andy, but "St. Patrick" was a construct of the Catholic Church, created to suppress the pagan celebration of Ostara, the Spring Equinox. Easter is also one such construct. "St. Patrick" never existed. Most Christian holidays are fabrications intended to mask the original pagan celebrations. So remember, next time you're out having a drink on St. Paddy's day, you're actually celebrating the beginning of the Spring Equinox. Filthy pagans. =P
