While I have sympathy for people that are actually afflicted with this debilitating disorder, I have great contempt for people that fake having it to keep from working. We have one in my service area who has emphysema, smokes two packs a day, eats only candy corn, and calls us to give her the same dual neb that she has a prescription for. It's not unusual for her to call two or three times a day. Once she called us to take her kid's temperature because he threw up. Sometimes she calls us to check her husband's blood pressure. We'd all love to throw her into a pit of alligators.
