Charity events are only a sad facade. They don't help diabetics who need it. There are thousands of children with type one diabetes who don't get any help at all. And for some rich child to stand up there & brag about how he's made it while poor children whose parents can't even afford a decent meal every day suffer makes me sick. That is not inspiring to those who need it most. If he really wants to help them, he'll purchase good health insurance for their parents.

buying stuff for them is not what he needs to do. what nick wants to do is make other kids feel like they're are gonna be ok and they can live their life normally with this disease. he wants them to feel like they can go through life withwout always being sad and worrying, ok.

he is trying to be a support system for these kids. And when he talks about it, it does raise awareness and it helps raise money for different Diabetes foundations. If you want to help raise money you can go to the Jonas Brothers foundation, Change For The Children.

This is so inspiring. I love the Jonas Brothers. I know that ton of people have diabetes, and I feel bad for all of them, but I think its great that he does all these charity events, because one of my friends has diabetes and I know that the Jonas Brothers inspire her & they inspire me to. I think that its great that he doesn't let it slow him down. I love him!

a week before he said he had diabetes everyday something was wrong with him, and than the day before i had a dream me and his brothers were hanging out at the ice cream shop, i asked him if he wanted chcocolate but he said no. And i was like "omg!" the day i found out, and then after i saw the video, "WE LOVE U! AND SUPPORT U!" He said in an interview he got it in NOV.05, and i kept wondering if it was on my B-DAY (NOV 16) when i saw this video on CNBC and than he said NOV 16!

if your sayin the chocolate thing cuz of his diabetes...you're completely wrong, type one diabetics can eat whatever they want, they just have to give shots for it, or like him, use a pump*lil needle/pda type thing that gives insulin...and don't be like "oh you dont know anything" cuz i'm a type one diabetic...and yea, this video made me cry cuz just how he handles it...amazing.
