James Hinchcliffe with the Color Commentary, glad he's doing well in IndyCar, but when that's done he's going back to this, guy was meant to have a microphone in front of him.
I miss ChampCar racing. Even though it was a spec series, it was the closest thing in open-wheel racing in the U.S. to Formula One that had a wide support/fanbase and was televised regularly. Great drivers, great tracks, great cars. It was just great racing. I was really starting to enjoy it more so in the later years when they began to move away from oval racing. Not too much a fan of IndyCar.
I know the Indy guys used to race here (don't know if they still do) but what do you do if you are side-by-side with someone going into that fast double chicane on the back straight?
just insanity through the chicane. btw, what the heck does "screech, bubble, scream" mean, Matthew White? Thank god Skaifey will replace him in the commentary box for the V8's.
Graham Rahal drives like a veteran. Impressive for a rookie, but it's even more impressive when he is only 18 years old! The apple does not fall far from the tree.
that vb shacane is the best few corners in the world to watch a champcar go through. nice post diggis4 if you could put some more onboards up it would be much appreciated.
