Try imagining what we, the Bosnian Muslims, had to go through. Try to put yourself in the shoes of people who lost fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, etc. all for the sake of a petty religious conflict and see if you feel the same. The doc, was very sad, very very crucial to watch. Who started the war, who ended it? Who helped? Who betrayed? Those are all questions that people want to know the answer to, BUT WILL NEVER GET. The south-slavic conflict was, and will be purely ethnical, there is NOTHING about religion, and never was in eastern europe. Religion is an excuse. Again, I don't think the USA made the situation last longer, as legally speaking, they are not required to help, and their actions did not make the event last longer than it would have on its own. People want the USA to not police the world, except for when they want them to. :)

you guys that are reading this comment now i think your not going to belive this but i was one of the muslims in the war. i was a little baby but i still remembered every minute of it.the guy serbs were taking children away from their mothers and they were killing all the men but luckly some men ascaped and also luckly some serbs let the women and children go that why i'm alive.and one day the serbs will get what they gave to the bosnian muslims.

You want to create a muslim country in Balkan,then this is inevitable.I feel sorry for those poor people,just as I feel sorry for all the Serbs killed around Srebrenica by naser oric (who got aquitted of his well known crimes).Fact that his troops had killed over 3000 civilians during the war was never mentioned in this documentary, which makes it a very subjective material. As far as Mladic goes, guy was a mentally disturbed person. It is obvious. I don't agree with what he did, but I do think that muslims of Srebrenica should have fled together with the troops of naser oric. Imagine if the Serbs that fled during the "Storm" didn't flee their homes. What do you think would have happened?
It is shame that we had leaders like milosevic at the time. Things would have been very different today. Very different.

A very very sad but great documentary. The most important thing is that serbian autority should definitly admit what happend in Srebrenica area. This is the only way to try to live in peace and a small guarantee that it will never happen again. Thank you for posting these videos ! I think teachers should show it in classrooms all over Europe.

It was so discusting to watch a Dutch commander scarred to death and grovling before the feet of Mladic, I wonder how he feels nowadays when he watches himself?! I read the comments of Srbs and cannot believe that they can still justify the killing of innocent people - a monstrous thought and deed! The doc, was very sad, very very crucial to watch. Who started the war, who ended it? Who helped? Who betrayed? Those are all questions that people want to know the answer to, BUT WILL NEVER GET. This is going to go on and on and on. Parents telling their children their point of view and it will be passed on like that from generation to generations.
