  • Black men and women are the best: farmers, inventors, revolutionaries. Anything we can take, or learn can make it out of good. Yeah, there are some bad apples, but we're not all apart of that.

  • Love this :) Thanks

  • Cap , out of all parts on the vo, that would be the one with the most common knowledge . It's. A proving fact buddy. What part of Roots did you not see? This is why the Doc is being made. To make folks as yourself more aware. But thanks for watching.

  • the only difference between us is a thin layer of tissue called skin.

  • melanin permeates every cell, including brain cells, and operates very differently in Black peoples and White peoples. Our cultures and histories and environments are hella different etc. We certainly do have differences more than the skin and down into every cell. diversity is not a bad thing.

  • This difference however represents about 0.01% of our genetic and physical make-up. I think the issue is that diversity, while good for humanity, is often HEAVILY overstated. Our cultures and histories are different as well but you would be surprised how much is shared, as evidenced by this video.

  • I've heard this, but for instance the human brain is probably less than 10% of the body, but it's significance is much larger. Places like the Amazon and coral reefs on this planet are very small parts of the planet, even the section of the planet humans live on is some tiny percentage of the overall planet, but hugely important and relevant specifically to us. These parts of the planet hold most of our species and represent an enormous potential in new medicines and other things.

  • That said yeah I agree the differences between human beings are small if you look at percentages like you've stated, but that says nothing for the relevance of those very small things. In many ways humans are more alike than different, with our cultures and histories sharing tons once you go back a ways in time. But today there is a tendency to try to blend everything together and say we are all the same. There is beauty and value in our differences, and we should beableto accept that reality.

  • I think one of the dangers in not accepting people's difference is running the risk of blending people together in an unhealthy way. Small groups, groups who have been historically abused and disempowered, being blended with larger groups often causes the disappearance of that smaller group. If I remember correctly this is part of the definition of genocide, when a culture is erased even if not violently. though small, peoples have differences, but thats good and important in fact.

  • great video... I would love to see some black westerns produced.

  • Beautiful video. Love the prayer and respect for God at the end of the video. Proverbs 1:7"The respect of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge."

  • some of those ppl are a member of our club.

  • black cowboys are cool. I remember as a kid I was at a rodeo and my dad introduced me to this black bullrider, I remember he had a fake ear cause a bull ripped it off. I think it mighta been charlie sampson.

  • You are right it was Charlie.

I'll let you know when it airs.

  • By the way, where is the rest of this program ?

  • This is more African American history untold, forgotten, and buried.

  • Word !
