@SuperAlaa90 As long as you dont fill up your memory too much, or go right to maximum capacity, you should be fine. Also make sure you are closing down apps after you are using them as it supports multi tasking.

@swag2onehundred You should not be charged for standard internet browsing on Wi-Fi, however services such as push email and BlackBerry services could incur a charge and 3G as you know, will incur a data charge. We would definately reccomend giving your network provider a call just to check on this, as its always best to be safe than sorry!

I have this phone and I'm finally getting a new one today. I really liked this phone in the beginning but now I just hate it. It's so slow. And it freezes up so much. You can't even send videos you take. I really don't think it should be called a smart phone. hahah. But that's just my opinion.

@Destinez555 Hi there, there is a BlackBerry set up guide, that is part of the phone and when you first turn on it takes you through how to do settings, BBM etc. Plus you will also have a manual for the phone. But its not hard no :)

@JuiceyJewz BBM is a dedicated messaging service that is just for BlackBerry users. Its like MSN or yahoo chat and uses your Wi-Fi or 3G internet connection. It wont take away texts from your allowance, so if you have Wi-Fi at home you can message your friends with BlackBerrys for free! :)

@Yogobeast483 I think you would be fine, if you buy it from a store you can ask for them to help you set it up in there. You also have a step by step info guide when you turn on your BlackBerry for the first time and set up Wi-Fi/Email etc. So just pay attention to that :)

@khalz13 The theme was just default and came with the phone, its a GSM/UK mobile so that may have something to do with it. But we didn't change anything, just switched it on and did the review. So can't really help on that one, sorry :(

@fazelmgrazel You can use BBM on Pay as you go but bear in mind using 3G internet will tear through your credit very quickly. We would reccomend only using on Wi-Fi

I am trying to decide if I should upgrade to this right away, or wait two weeks until the new 9350/60/70 is released. I really prefer the form factor of the 3G over the new version (from what I've seen so far) as it appears to be a bit thicker and more substantial in the hand. Do you believe that OS7 will offer significant improvements over this device? I would use it mainly for texting, calling, web browsing, two email accounts, and twitter, not so much for serious business needs.

@ForceKiller34 Hi Force, it may be that your BlackBerry is on a later operating system. We got hold of the 9300 as soon as it came out and this was how the menu appeared straight out of the box, so it could be running an earlier BlackBerry OS.

@arjit112 The 9300 is looked at as the updated model of the 8520. There are not huge differences between the two but things such as improved GPS support and being BlackBerry OS 5.0 compatible and of course 3G support make it the better handset.

After using it for a while she will get used to it. But BlackBerry's are more for business so it may be a bit to much.

She can simply use it for the basics and learn to do the other parts as she goes on. Having a full keypad or a touchscreen is what you will need to look at before buying.

@1djrichie well 9300 is best because it has faster internet and gps but if u dont mind about these things there is no point of getting 9300.

also u have got to think about how much to want to spent on a phone and if u want to spent about £50 more for faster internet and gps.

also the 9300 has a nicer looking outer rim.

@arthur93777 Hi Arthur, the two phones are very similar on specification. Both with QWERTY keyboards, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS. The Nokia E5 has the better camera at 5 megapixel, compared to only 2 megapixel on the BlackBerry 9300. However the BlackBerry has unique features such as BlackBerry messenger and PIN messaging, as well being built for linking multiple email accounts and don't forget that lovely optical trackpad. Its a a tricky one Arthur, it all depends on what you are looking for. :)
