@KurikuShot These games r examples: Ar tonelico, trinity universe, hyperdimension neptunia (all girls), record of agarest war, cross edge (kinda), etc. Most of the unknown ones u notice are like this and it adds insult to injury that i only had to glance at my game collection to only name just 5. I get what u mean by the more guys playing vigeo games thing but im just mad because my friends make fun of me everytime im playing a jrpg because of this. They don't need eye candy to make a game good.

@JavonS83 Well first of all, the reason there could be more female characters is because they want to appeal to the MALE audience. The male dominance in the video game fans is lower in Japan than in the West but still there's more boys playing games than girls. But what JRPGs are we talking about with more girls than boys anyway? We probably play different ones but the ratio seems pretty even most of the time for me. Unless you're just playing FFX-2 and FFXIII a lot.
