First of all capitalism came from the left and switch side around the 1940s and 1950s when liberalism split to social liberalism and classic liberalism. No where does it said either socialism or captialism. The United States had a higher income tax rate until the Reagan Admin. Regulations is not always bad like Child Labor Laws or the EPA (conservative president Nixon) to prevent corporations from spewing there pollution.
