I just purchased this chopper. i am disappointed that it always has a "consistant forward motion". I would like to HOVER IN PLACE!! I am not allowed to do this. I see someone mentioned putting a dime on the tail?
I also purchased an Air Hog Twin Vortex. This has the same feature; It is always going forward!!
Are there any RC heli's out there that i can buy that will go up....HOVER IN PLACE... THEN go backwards as well as forwards and left & right?
lol i have one and i will give "fun" ridesto some bugs with my specially desgined basket and drop them in a bucket of water for a nice swim. My custom basket is like a cage, trapping bugs inside.

Now, the helicopter itself is a true marvel in toy engineering, especially with the innovation of the working crane/winch, but the helicopter itself is just too difficult to fly, even without using the crane/winch. Utilizing the same technology from the previous double rotor heli "Sharp Shooter", the "Fly Crane" heli flies with the same ease and auto-leveling stability that the "Sharp Shooter" had
The main problem is that the helicopter is constantly flying forward, most of the time at an unpredictable speed. Sometimes it is steady, next thing you know, it flies forward, forcing the pilot/user to steer the heli left or right, altering the speed even more. The crane works, but it is extremely difficult to pick the baskets up. Items in the basket will make it worse for the heli, because then it has a sudden shift in weight from whatever is in the basket causing the heli to lose control.
ATTANTION!!!!!!!!! you tube i think you guys should get the new hawk eye blue sky it is an amazing new helicopter it is the same price as the hakw eye 65$ but it can be controledd 100ft away with more than 5min of vid and it comes with a usb so you dont hav to plug it into the computer!!!it has a 740xx 480 camera!!!i bought a zerogoal solar panel and i can charg it with out batts just sun

@DarthDorker nope 3.5 its like barley nothing.i have an 808 key chain camera i was planing to put on the crane but the camera wighs 15 grams so i dont think this heli can carry anything
cool but with my expirence with airhogs choppers they have never been steady nor could they fly straight even my reflex couldent o well ill still probably buy this one
