  • C is for Cookie, that's good enough for me.. :-)

  • Too much oil in my opinion.

  • Use F5 to clean the fader first then a little F100L to lube it.

  • watching u clean ur mixer with TLC has been really therapeutic, real talk!

  • hi , if i use a normal contact cleaner spray?

  • Yooo DJ Esc!! I just did my faders with the 10S and they glide like a dream! I got a 57sl and Denon 3700s

  • By any chance do you know where can i get a replacement for my crossfader for my ttm57sl

  • Goooood looks.

  • for everyone they recommend the deoxit f100L for faders a bit pricey but effective. thanks for the video man good techniques of cleaning you can also detach the lexan plate an remove rails and fader clean in hot water for a more effective cleaning just a couple tips!

  • Rane ttm57sl manual says "We recommend Caig DeoxIT FaderLube F100 spray lubricant." NOT DeoxIT X10S and X10 ?????

  • @greiner0009 - Getting a lil critical there.. I've seen the 57 manual and thank you for the observation. As many different mixers as Rane has, there are as many different Caig/DeoxIt fader cleaners.. Cailube has since changed to DeoxIT and I've been using the X10S since I had a TTM 56 which are the exact same faders on the 57SL. Go ahead and buy the recommended spray.. it'll be exactly the same.. My video doesnt state this is "the only product" you should use, its just a way to do it.

  • I wasn't tryin to be dick, just wanted to point out what the manual says... I accidentally bought the DeoxIT FaderLube F5 instead of F100. Brought my 57 back to life. Hopefully the F5 wont hurt me. It says only 5% solution so it must evaporate the rest but idk? Thanks for your tutorial!

  • @greiner0009 - no doubt man.. I'd like to see some of your vids sometime rockin that 57! peace!

  • i like that dj tutor referance...good stuff

  • When I grow up, I hope to have one of these mixers. This knowledge will come in handy.

  • Hey, Big Thanks for that... wasn't sure what was the best cleaning fluid to use...

    Peace!

  • Great video man!

  • Dude, mega thumbs up. I've been wondering why there weren't any vids out there on this subject, and it's about time for my 56s to get its first lube...where'd you get the cailube?

  • @dionysis1200 - thnx man.. the name of this product has changed to: DeoxIT X10S and X10 - I'll send you the link to your inbox

  • Happy New Year, ESC!!

    Thanks for the luv.

    PEACE!

  • I can't believe nobody has posted this kind of cleaning vid before. Thanks Dj Esc for the vid and the shout out. Your vids always entertain and educate on the kut. You ever tried the "spring above the rail" mod that makes the fader super slick? Thats what I like to do with my 56. Keep the videos coming and have a great 2010! Peace.

  • @djcyberia - when I had a 56 I did make that adjustment, but I just havent felt the need for it on this mixer.. It still runs quick stock :D
