When even our thoughts come under His scrutiny. When it's a narrow Way we walk daily, not just an uncomfortable outfit we put on once a week. When everything is for Him, by Him, & through Him - when He's not just some little "avenue" to glorify ourselves or some bandaid slapped over our lives. It's time for many people to rip the bandaids off & let their flesh endure the sting. I've known people who - quite innocently - thought they were "saved" because they agreed that Jesus is LORD.
Demons in hell & satan himself agree He is the LORD, it's why they fear Him. So that acknowledgement alone will not grant eternal life, as He said in Matt 7:21.
We should begin by asking, "Do we WANT to do the will of the Father? Do we WANT to glorify Christ everyday?" Because those desires only come from Him. If we don't have that desire, we don't have Him. But His promise is that those who hunger & thirst for righteousness will be filled. (Matt 5:6) We can only cry out to Him.
