wow...this is great being able to see this again...I first started watching GL back in the late early 80's and I loved these two.

I think Judi was really good in this role however, I came to love the actress that portrayed her til the end of the show too.

Grant Aleksander and Judi Evans were perfection together. They had the best chemistry on every level. I"ll always remember the sweet Phillip and Beth montage in New York with the beautiful song "Just You and I" playing in the backround. Their magical Phillip and Beth will always be timeless. i know beth. when i go to vermont she stays in the house right next to me. shes so nice. but its so funny because everyone in vermont wears like overalls and you see beth wearing a coach hat with a big purse and huge sunglasses. hahah! im also very close friends with her nephew

God, they were so young! Judi's voice sounds so little girlish, and she is a little teen here!

When I see her on AW and compare it to this, you see just how much better she got as an actress - even though she is good here.

I remember we used to watch this before our track practice and it's kind of funny seeing football players and track runners watching the Guiding Light but we like the Beth - Phillip Storyline.

My favorite soap couple of all time! My teenage heart just melted everytime Grant Aleksander looked at Judi Evans. To this day, I can't hear "Truly" by Lionel Ritchie without thinking of them.
