  • Such a positive change taking place on our earth! Mother earth deserves this change. Such exciting times :D

  • wow you have a beautiful colour hair. totally off topic

  • Way cool, thanks for making this video for people!

  • Oh you had empty eyes!

  • Eckhart is not a genious at all. and you can have fear of the present time too, if you don't know how to manage it, and he doesn't explain how to do it.. he is still far away from the truth...he simply blows his mind and thats how he solves the anxiety problems.. it is not as easy as that, and is a very passive and incorrect way of interpreting life.. wait for my book soon

  • Eckhart is quite a natural genius :) I love him and you and the whole world because everyone will understand the power of a present moment :)

  • I love you!

    :-)

  • I would like a new video of you, since this is the first one it appear in search list but also its pretty old.

    As to the video...

I think you've said some magic sentences there:

    Take a moment and breathe

    Be happy now

    Start living now

  • I have a question, does living in the moment still mean you dream, set goals, strive for things in the future, ect?

  • Live now, pay later...

  • You are a good teacher also. You exude a bright , truthful, giving light! Keep on doing your work and I thank God for you sharing your gift to us and the universe

  • Ok so are you saying become awakened, enlightened, live in the moment or whatever you wan't to call it so you can make lots of money, be successful and get all the things you wan't?

  • @onetao8 @onetao8 She means that we are able to let go of burdens that hold us back from achieving our goals as we realise that our identity doesn't need to depend on them. The happier person is also going to function more peacfully in social relationships and attract success...

  • It's almost like being more streamline or aeorodynamic, living life without gathering stress, hopes and worries and any other psychological resistance that makes the present moment difficult to live in.Though our goals must become selfless not needing a greater or fuller self but simply doing what the current situation truly requires from you.

  • @tochezpab What is your definition of success? I think most people considered successful are far from peaceful.

  • @onetao8 consider success as apposed to superiority (or social interest), for realising wholeness, please read on defintions by Alfred Adler. There is also great difference between ego driven influence (which seeks to impose and protect itself) and being totally receptive to reality and honest with one's self. Actions become more suited to the given moment and dont seek to define us. Basically Eckhart asks us to redefine our notion of success to something that doesn't feed the ego

  • Click Up for Osho !:)

  • Tolle like booth not Tolle like au lait

  • While I have been watching your video The Power Of NOW came to me and whispered: "Kiss this woman":)

  • You are an Amazing woman! Thanks 8^D

  • Gorgeous babe speaking the gospel of now = cash money. She makes multiple 5 figures/month according to her website. Some homely dude abiding in the now is lucky to make fity' cent. I will say I was rather transfixed, smitten even, by her recorded now-ness with my now, now, now-ness. Well, really, it's all then-ness as far as thought is concerned. Delusions are endless unless you've managed to enter the Tolle-zone

  • Hi Katie,

Thank you for one of the clearest and most direct descriptions I have seen of ego and the source of un-happiness. What you are saying reminds me of something Adi Da says in Not-Two Is Peace - "ego culture must be stopped in its tracks". Ego is the chief source of human caused un-necessary suffering, so it is of utmost importance that everybody gets access to these ideas about ego transcendence.

Love and blessings, Theo Cedar Jones

  • Katie, I am so very glad I attracted your presence in my life. What you are speaking about here is exactly the path that I've been on, and continue to be. It's refreshing to know there are others out there that part of my "tribe". If you haven't read "A New Earth" by Tolle, pick it up when you can. I finished it a few months ago, and my consciousness has elevated so quickly, and my life is transforming right NOW. :)

  • what a wise, dream of a woman.

  • I like the way Katie just tells it like it is. She explains it better and faster than Eckhart.

  • Thank you very much for sharing your life´s experience and for showing us how this books have changed your life in such a positive way. I am also reading The Power of Now and find this book a big treasure and a guide to find your real identity, to be enlightened and to enjoy the beauty of life. I hope this book be read by more and more human beings so we all can remember what has been forgotten: DEEP LOVE, JOY AND PEACE LIES IN YOURSELF.

A Big Hug to you and to Everybody

    SMILE, LIFE IS GREAT! :D

  • actually? is this really the word not so bright people use to try to look not so dumb. I guess it is. hhu??

  • actually, actually, actually....hmmm?

  • beautiful video. I have read the book multiple times but I find it difficult to summarize. you did a great job, keep up the good work - stiving to live in the now and a egoless life...

  • 666 comments? Let's fix this ;)

    You're beautiful by the way!

  • Ego is actually our very sense of self. There is some great research on this in the field of social cognitive psychology. The term "hypoegoic" is used to refer to states in which a person is not subject to "introjection". Ken Wilber distinguishing between "personal" and "transpersonal". For Franklin Merryl-Wolf the difference is "introceptualism". There is an 800 page sociological reference manual that covers contingencies of self-worth and contingent regard by significant others in depth...

  • @Rybot9000 ...it's called The Handbook of Self and Identity by Mark R. Leary and June Price Tagney. It can be argued that these 'truths' date back to earliest recorded history. This is the view taken by authors like Julian Jaynes, Erich Fromm, Carl Jung and comparative theologians like Karen Armstrong. Aldous Huxley, author of A Brave New World also coined the term "The Perennial Philosophy" to refer to the basic teachings and how they are repeated throughout history and in different cultures.

  • @Rybot9000 Neurophilosopher Thomas Metzinger offers us The Ego Tunnel a layman's guide to understanding the functional anatomy of conscious self-awareness. He also brought us Being No One a 600 page functional analytic breakdown of conscious self-awareness from the perspective of a neuroanatomist-representationalist. If you can wrap your head around any of these I'd definitely recommend them. Also check out The Bible, Baghavad Gita and teachings of Buddha.

  • @TheMadHattedMen I was until her voice started lol - no offense Katie!

  • I just wanted to subscribe to you when I noticed that you BLOCKED me! on my other account! I probably said something oposite to your beliefs and you just went with your head in the sand! very mature of you! and you are the one giving advice?

  • Living in the present is not only because of EGO is because of evolution, people where climate is more warm, lets say near the ecuator live more in the present, nordic people where climate is changing fram warm to cold tend to live in the past or in the future more. but anyway there is also the ego part in it of course. I just wanted to clarify this.

  • i like your summary, me would do like you did. but i see another concept trap arising though it is not eckhards sense in using words. i watched myself in "needing" tolles talkings as a kind of identification with him :D his words are full of wisdom but the danger is to identify with them or as a concept too. at the end we do not need tolle after practice in awareness, because he is such a great teacher

  • This lady Katie Freiling is genius. Good to know people like you exist.

"It's not a magic trick!" Seeds planted in soil do not harvest the next day. We were born through this method. It takes a child 9 months to develop. "Dreams do come true." If consistently focused.

    Thanks.

  • give me a more powers!!.......

  • Great Video beautiful.Check some of my music out! Peace!

  • I use the power now alot with my kids... "please eat your dinner... NOW!!!!!!" hahaha

  • @mcnowski you made me cry ;D . My son on the way I need to hurry up, till it's not too expensive, to learn the power of NOW!!! I don't want to see my child starving.

  • @mcnowski checked your channel-got it :))))))

  • Spot on Katie. A great restatement of the truth; my experience exactly. NOW is all that is; everything else is illusion. Love to you!

  • Comment removed

  • "truthful" didn't you just read the book? there's no way to say something is truthful if you just read it. you'll have to get back to us when you're in your death bed and explain to us if the book has actually helped you "live in the moment" remember, if you have to ask, then you are not living in the moment. the mind will work how it wants.

  • Katie, watching you just makes it to hard to let go of my ego! :)

  • I have this vague feeling that your friend hates you now

  • Great Video! Eckhart's best book "Power of Now"! Life changing book!

  • awesome vid...i lost my job 6 weeks ago and if it wasnt for my man right now id be live'n in my car! somehow i have found some peace with who i am, problem being is im stuck in this world we need to work, pay pay pay pay pay!l. its one thing to look into yourself its another getting away from all this fear of just trying to survive..again comes back to work, pay out,no time for family, relax'n,,its all go go go work pay taxes etc..i am thinking of my own business.again takes time and money

  • Eckhart Tolle is brilliant...all he did was boiled down Buddhist / Zen principles into easy precepts for Western consumption.

  • I don´t think that Tolle should have the credit, as he has among these history-ignorant, "new age"-people, to come up with the concept of being totally present in the present.

Siddharta (Buddha) emphesized it very strongly 2500 years ago and in a much deeper sense than I think these Tolle-admirers will ever understand.

But, people have to start somewhere and Tolle is doing his job there.

  • @HIHIMIII56 Is not about who´s got the credit, its about the message, not the messenger, the more it´s known the better.

  • @barrorrojo Ok, it´s just a bit ridiculous when so many lifting up the ones that copys as coming up with somthing new and fantastic (as here" it´s so powerful, so truthful and transformational). The whole "new" thing about mindfulness is just a lame version of Buddha`s teachings.

As we say in Sweden; "Äras den som äras bör" ("honour the one that should be honoured")

  • @HIHIMIII56 Tolle gives credit to Buddha repeatedly in his books. He has travelled the world and compiled the Eastern philosophy for the western reader who usually have a hard time absorbing traditional Eastern Philosophies.

  • @orbitals81 Thank you for correcting me. Must admit I never got in to Tolle; every time I started I though "This is already in the teachings of the Buddha" and your absolutely right about Eastern teachings not being easy accessible.

    Namasté

  • Talking about the "Now" is just more story, and the way Eckhart tells it, by attempting to dismiss or debunk notions of the past and future is nothing short of a butchering of man's higher order abstractions and thought for simplicity's sake. He overdoes it IMHO, when the truth allows everything to be just the way it is. Which includes the mind and thoughts about the past and the future. Go ahead and bash thought Katie, what would you do without it though?

  • that's why young people of the sixties used to say, "later, babe. i love ya and all that, but i gotta leave ya cuz i gotta go find my self." this stuff is nothing new. it's all rehashed left overs from the sixties, and from even well before that. as in, from thousands of years before.

  • Thank you so much for the reminders of Transitions within the reality of ourselves. Conducting our space and time withinin the elements of the mind and spirit, sometimes loose their way. Perspective reasoning and simplicity in Truth and Honesty are key to the inner space within ourselves. NICE Channel, and really enjoyed the uplift !!!! Thanks

  • I just came here to look if you were really that hot and I am not dissapointed.

  • I read the book two years ago and I loved it. This video was a potent reminder of what I learned and how powerful immersion in the now is. Remember that all growth is best done in a state of patience. Presence is a skill and it requires much practice (meditation is key). Start now. Feel this moment and stay there fully for as long as you thirst for. The good news is that peace is here, now. And only :) Peace, LOVE, Learn, Laugh, and be who you deserve to be... you

  • Thank soo much!!! This book changed my life you know?

  • I <3 U :)

  • its hard to do to live in the moment but when its done right u will be free from all your worries and fears .........u will concentrate on what u have now and exploit it to the max

  • Have you found stillness within yourself yet...

  • The whole notion is flawed. Happiness is indeed very much dependent from external things. One can not be one self without them. Sure you can delude yourself but it's no match for the happiness that comes from true contentment.

  • Say, your client has been delaying paying you for a LONG time, and you need money to live. If just stay in the joy of NOW, what would propel you toward getting the money from the client? It seems, nothing. You'd just die of starvation in this state of bliss.

  • Thank you.

  • your gold!

  • The Power of the Now is a level of consiousness that is beyond the idea of belief. When people mention con artists it says more about them than the con artist. When you transcend the thought you move into presence. This is the Power of the Now and it creates all things out of no thing. The joke is that one lives the illusion of separateness and then claims such separateness as being the reality of life.

  • eckart tolle is another con artist trying to make his crazy insane ideas of what living is. meanwhile the world still is in shit... the ego is a damm word.. understand death and hunger and war.. that is real. and stop being such a robot. you are just like him. just like any other belief,, is still is a belief an idea of what you think is right..... what a joke!

  • @Chullotron please offer us your solution to the madness.....

  • @Blackeze my solution is simple, i have none...but these con artist think they have it all figure out.. they have no idea. its just another form of religion.. someone else to follow.. your trap once more in thought and your new belief is the idea of now... its still is an idea...

  • Spot on darling. Not easy is it :)

Peace and Love to all of us

  • People who think that going to destroy ego, doing it from ego-position. It's bigger illusion.

  • Wrong. Wrong. Wrong. It's the ego that seeks satisfaction. As long as you're looking for satisfaction, or happiness, or reasons... you are lost in ego. It doesn't matter if you're looking for it in the present or the future. If you're looking for it... you're lost. Stop looking for it.

  • Thank You xx

  • we are all immortal if we live in the now. Cus you never actually experience death if you just dont think about it. And when it happens you are dead so... :)

  • you are very young and thanks for sharing.... I'll write something later, i go to work on some other things right now.

  • i would love to share something with you, kristie. this fat cock.

  • I understand that to be truly happy you need to live in the present moment but then doesnt it mean you're just drifting through life? I mean you do still need to think about the future don't you and what you would like to happen in your life. Do you mean live in the present moment as much as possible and only come out of that to think about the past or future in a positive way? I have been in this state for about a week and it was the happiest i've been. i want to do it more often!

  • it might be kind of weird to hang out with someone who sees everything as forms .

  • great job cindy!!!

  • it sounds like a mixed message, lifes not all about happyness and living in the moment is good when your working. but we need to stop and look to our past sometimes and plan out our futures. Ego...hmmm if ego is what gets me up in the morning to do better for myself then Ill choose ego. im bummed about some things in my life but once my ego kicked in and i changed them I started feeling alot better about myself. so right now as far as my life is going i choose ego.

  • Holla! Have you tried intellectus list building (do a search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my mate got a lot of buying leads added to their list.

  • she's using sex to sell the book.

  • I tried to read his stuff but all he's doing is reguritating and capitalizing off Buddhism, go to the source if you want to know about mindful living.

  • Great message & great metaphors! Tell it on the mountain, friend-girl! Great job!

  • We are The Experiencers and we have a Personality that doesn't change thought it's expectations do. and we do not simply have pride in being, we have pride in having, and pride in doing, in the relative sense, and alos in the instrinsic sense. that is, we can have Pride in Being Successful, but we also have Pride in Being Attractive. though not everyone has the same personality or conditions. if you were suddenlly disfigured how would being in The Now help, except as a hiding place?

  • thanks for reminding me, of the importants of being in the now.

  • Is this a self help video? I thought I was going to learn something I didn't already know.

  • Great video thanks! I've read 'The Power of Now' only once mind you, and i strongly believe that it should be taught to kids in school!! that along with 'The Power of Your Subconscious Mind' by Joseph Murphy. Keep up the good work Katie Freiling yours sincerely Paul Quinn x

  • I am in Love, do you really exist? Amazing video thank's a lot....

  • if I understand the way to happiness, it is very urgent to have a very bad memory in order to live here and now !!!

  • Even worry while you worry, psychologists suggest that set a specific time in the day for worrying, you will stop worrying in the specific time after doing it for days

  • In short, living as a robot is the way to live at the present

  • @amytang77 work while you work, play while you play, eat while you eat, sleep while you sleep

  • @amytang77

Thats a strong opinion that contradicts the whole idea of freedom this power tries to give.

Would you explain why you said that?

She tells something as "seizing the day" don't live through out the day worrying about the past or future.

I haven't read the book, it wouldn't be so simple

  • You get fear and anxiety, but not in the moment? Well, how you explain that when you're stuck for words its kinda visible on your face that you are a bit worried?

how about that all you say comes from the past and future?

  • Hi Katie,

I was impressed with your video, your comprehend and express the true essence of ideas very well and your look so young. Hmmm your a wonderful person and very cool keep up the good work.

  • am i a manifested form of the formless that makes me one with the world around me,or am i my thoughts and habits and so on that make me a bit different or seperated from my surroundings?

  • Hi from Berlin, Katie! I didn't know that Tolle is known outside Germany,

but - hey - until last december I also thought that Rammstein isn't known

    much outside Germany.

Anyway, I just want to say that you perfecly understood, what Eckard is talking about, that you are spot on with your own assumptions and I just wanted to say thank you for brilliantly putting his words in a nutshell.

You summed it upunderstandable and completely trustworthy

That was Tolle with eye candy at its best! Respect!

  • Good video thanks.

  • You are sharing a lot of powerful concepts ...hope folks are not only

hearing but listening. You are truly blessed to know these things

at so young an age. It took me 100 years!

  • Some series of bad relationships or breakups lead to her reading those books then posting this nonsensical video. She is very cute though :)

  • Wow gorgeous and you can see that you're present and in the moment while you speak. Power of Now is great I listened to the audio books, PoN and New Earth was awesome. You don't get too strongly identified or stuck in a negative state for so long. Acceptance is key!

  • Your awesome Katie!!!...Love Eckhart Tolle..You have a awesome way of showing people how we all can live this way...Your the best!!!!

  • you look great

  • yes, You got it right. I am saying it as a paradox. You have to use this realization for a better world to teach and show the way.

  • I have read the power of now. Ekhart Tolle talks about practicing surrender. How do you do this?

  • Wonderfull!

  • I am not enlightened. I just wanna kiss u (:

  • good video

  • Katie, could you speak more slowly? This video, from the beginning to end, is a torrent of words. While nothing you say is out of place, it is through those gaps of silence that we sense your presence. I feel really manipulated right now because of discord between mind and intuition.

  • @91kreo. Thanks. Glad to hear from someone who's hip. I'm curious about your next post where you mention entities you encountered in meditation. I'm interested in TM and I've been meaning to try it. I heard someone recount such encounters before but dismissed them as nonsense. What can you tell me about this.

  • @KatieFreiling Hey nice video, and nice talk. I have read the Power of Now, and I bought Eckhart's 2 set DVD, and it has changed my life as well. I really have true happiness now, and it's actually nice to see someone who is young like me, and is of the opposite sex that can understand these things. I mean I try to explain this stuff sometimes to people, and they look at me like I'm crazy. With that said, will you marry me? AHAHAHA Joking... NO but really, its enlightening to see.. Thank you.
