I usually just keep the grading pop-up window open- which you access by clicking 'update' on the assignment submission list. Then I keep a text file with stock responses based on the rubric set up before the assignment. Then I copy and paste "make sure you review the assignment before you submit", and paste in those items they are missing, and how many marks they were worth. That is my SUPER FAST way of marking in Moodle.
