If Jimmer can tighten his handle a little bit, I think he's gonna be an all star. I don't think his handle is bad, but it's just average. It'll be a bit harder for him to get off these kind of shots against nba defenders. Worst case scenario, I think he'll be a much better version of Eddie House. Best case, a modern Mark Price.

This kid is good, but honestly he's no Larry Bird or Pete Maravich, not even close. Pete averaged 44 points a game with NO 3-point line. Larry Bird couldnt run or jump worth a crap, but he still dominated as much as anybody in history has. Im not saying Jimmer is bad, he's just nowhere close to Larry and Pete.

@sabbathgodsofmetal Maravich averaged 44 in COLLEGE.. Not in the pros.... A Great player .. He did drop 68 on the Knicks once...Bird also a Great Player... AND Jimmer can be a Better player than Both of them. He has all the skills. A Great shooter..A Great Passer....Great court vision.....Quicker than anybody gives him credit for and NOBODY can defend him. No one.

@sabbathgodsofmetal No . Maravich was a scoring freak when healthy --and a great passer as well. ..and when Bird was on he too was scary. I think Fredette can surpass these legends. He has an explosiveness to the rim they didnt quite have and he is as good a shooter as ANYONE I have ever seen. Nobody can guard him one on one. He also has an Intense competitiveness that few are aware of.

I've read somewhere that Fredette is kind of like Redick, but watching Fredette vs. Redick I see a huge difference. Redick couldn't create his own shots like Fredette can. Redick needed multiple screens to get open.

Mark Phew the Gonzaga coach was on Colin Cowherds show on ESPN yesterday and picked Florida to win vs BYU. I think this is a classic case of what happens after you get Jimmered. In other words Jimmer is SO good that Mark Phew is in denial about just how badly he was Jimmered and just how good Jimmer is. I think BYU is gonna roll vs Florida. I think They'll be rolling right through the final four. So let it be written. So let it be done.

Like the conversation here. Im a huge fan of this freak. I really cant think of anyone Ever who shoots (or shot) from where he does and hits 44%!!! Its almost funny he puts it up and immediately u think "he cant shoot from there' before you know it the net is burning.. and he just keeps firing ...Lets face it, he is the real deal with a complete skill set , crazy confidence and a HIGH basketball IQ. I would like to see him go to his left a little more. He will have a GREAT NBA career..

@rascalMatt17 He's awesome, but definitely not the best/most exciting in all of basketball. The NCAA, right now, is a vast wasteland of mediocrity. Jimmer's not mediocre though, so he stands out. He'll be a good player in the NBA, where talent and play is elevated and the weak and average are shunned.

@dcDrewChase Irving, Williams, Sullinger, Barnes, Alec Burks. Not many—a handful. Jimmer's strong (for his position/size) & can create his own shot. Plus, I mentioned Westbrook & Rose, the NBA's changed because of rules & little guys (6'0'', 6'3''-ish) can dominate. Analysts say if Jimmer changes his game like Stephen Curry of the Warriors did he'll be a good pro which is awesome. He's got crazy range & is strong. Better than Redick & Morrison, who were apparently "NBA saviors," I'll say that.

@jd55192 i like what you said at the end...but those players you mentioned arent even close to jimmers level...i look at it like this...if jimmer plays in a utah jazz style offense (pick&roll etc..) he will have a great career...the nba isnt a hard game until playoffs start...i would say the top 3 college guards right now are #1 jimmer #2 dunn (baylor) then kemba imo
